Kentsel alanlarda yer alan işlevler, gelişim süreçleri boyunca farklı perspektiflerden sıklıkla araştırılmış ve yer seçimlerini etkileyen faktörler analiz edilerek irdelenmiştir. Mekânsal yer seçimi dinamiklerini ortaya koymakta öncelikle hiyerarşik bir mekansal düzeni tanımlayan merkezi yerler kuramı ile etki düzeyinin arttırılmasında nüfus ve erişebilirlik bileşenleri gündeme gelmiş ve işlevlerin mekansal örüntü üzerindeki konumları önem kazanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, ticari yapılar ile erişilebilirlik arasındaki ilişkinin kent makroformu üzerinden ortaya konulması ve ticari işlevlerin kademeli yapısının merkezi yerler kuramı çerçevesinde irdelenmesidir. Çalışma Kastamonu kenti Merkez İlçe sınırlarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ticaret türleri yapılan sınıflandırmaya göre CBS kullanılarak sayısallaştırılmış, hizmet yoğunlukları düşük, orta ve yüksek olarak sınıflandırılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda bazı mahallelerde sıkça talep edilen hizmetlerin bile yer almadığı, buna karşın bazı mahallelerin merkezi noktalarında üst kademe hizmetlerin yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda kent ölçeğinin tüketiciler için kabul edilebilir mesafeler açısından önemli olduğu ortaya konmuştur.

As a result of the widespread industrial activities in today's cities and the increase in the urban population and building density, the pollution values in the urban geography are increasing. The accumulation of environmental pollutants is one of the most important problems to be considered in the construction of cities. Heavy metal pollution from various activities in urban areas is one of the riskiest environmental problems. Heavy metals are concentrated due to human activities and it is necessary to monitor and determine their accumulation levels. Detection and reduction studies of heavy metal levels in regions and areas with population density are of critical importance, as accumulation above a certain dose can cause vital problems. Studies on the accumulation of heavy metals are affected by parameters of quite different sizes, and determination of the level and identification of the source is quite complex. However, due to the high accumulation of pollutants in some landscape areas due to the effect of their type, it reveals the course of pollutants in these regions. This study aimed to determine the concentrations of Copper (Cu) and Iron (Fe) in leaves, bark and wood in various landscape species by biomonitoring heavy metals. By comparing the Cu and Fe concentrations, the heavy metal holding capacities of the species used varied significantly in plant species and in different organs of the same plant. As a result of the study, it has been determined that Schinus molle L. can be preferred in urban areas and can be used as a biomonitor in Cu and Fe accumulation.

Özİnsanlık tarihi kadar eski olan din olgusu, bireylerin temel fiziksel ihtiyaçlarını karşılamasından sonra kendi varoluşlarını sorgulamasıyla ortaya çıkmıştır. Önemli dini merkezler binlerce yıldır o dinlere mensup insanlar tarafından ziyaret edilmektedir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında, inanç turizminin ilk ortaya çıkan turizm türlerinden biri olduğu söylenebilir. Araştırmanın yürütüldüğü Kastamonu şehri; neolitik dönemden günümüze farklı medeniyetlere ev sahipliği yapmış olup inanç turizm değerleri açısından zengindir. Bu bağlamda araştırmada Benli Sultan Külliyesi inanç turizmi odağında ele alınmış, külliye ve yakın çevresinin doğal, kültürel ve tarihi değerlerine uygun tasarım yaklaşımları ile öneriler sunulmuştur. AbstractThe religion, which is as old as the history of humanity, arose right after the questioning the individuals' own existence after meeting the basic physical needs of individuals. Important religious centres have been visited by people belonging to those faiths for thousands of years. From this perspective, it can be said that faith tourism is one of the first emerging tourism types. The city of Kastamonu; has been the home to different civilizations from the Neolithic period to the present day and it has rich resources in terms of religious tourism. In this context, the Benli Sultan Complex was examined within the context of religious tourism. Design proposals were made of in accordance with the design approaches appropriate to the natural, cultural and historical values of the space and its immediate surroundings.
