Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) yang tersedia di lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini masih banyak menggunakan barang siap pakai. Di lain pihak potensi alam belum banyak dimanfaatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kreatifitas guru PAUD Delima Jobokuto Jepara dalam membuat APE berbasis pemanfaatan potensi alam. Fokus pembuatan APE dari bahan kerang dengan tema “Sea World” karena Jobokuto merupakan daerah pesisir pantai, yang terdapat banyak potensi alam seperti kerang, batukarang, dan serpihan pasir. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi; perencanaan yaitu identifikasi masalah mitra, koordinasi, dan sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan dengan kegiatan, yaitu 1) pemberian motivasi pemanfaatan potensi alam, 2) pelatihan pembuatan APE, dan 3) pendampingan pembuatan APE, dan evaluasi melalui FGD beserta peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini, mitra dapat memanfaatkan APE sea world dalam pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan dunia laut sehingga pelayanan serta model APE di PAUD mengalami peningkatan. Mitra dapat mengembangkan pemanfaatan bahan kerang dan pasir untuk melatih motorik anak.
This study aims at seeing the effect of students’ ability in speaking using Mind Mapping Board (MMB). There are 30 students who consists of 14 female and 16 male students at seven grade of one of Junior High School Kudus. The data collection is collected by interview, observation, questionnaire, and test. The research design used was Quasi Expreriment. It is used to know the effectiveness of MMB using two treatments, namely pre-treatment and post-treatment. By mind mapping, the ideas will be elaborated well and organized into framework of mapping. MMB is a media used to help students to extend their creative ideas and help them to be able to communicate. Communication skill plays an important role in supporting the 4.0 industrial revolution. Finally, MMB media is an effective way for students to organize concepts and ideas to support their speaking skills and prepare communication skills in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
This study was aimed to examine the effectiveness of using the Tree Diagram technique to enhance mastery of vocabulary in seventh-grade students of MTs Miftahul Huda Bulungan in the academic year 2021/2022. Quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design was used as the research design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and involved two classes which included 33 students in the experimental group and 32 students in the control group. The instruments were 20 multiple-choice questions and 5 essay questions. A T-test was used to analyze the data. The result of the t-test was 2,786>1,670. The Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. There was a significant difference in mean scores of pretest and posttest which indicated that the tree diagram technique took a good effect on the students’ vocabulary mastery. This study concluded that the implementation of the tree diagram was effective to improve the students’ vocabulary mastery
Kudus is identified as Kota Santri due to its identity through its Islamic culture. Cultural awareness must be possessed people surroundings. Teachers can foster it in the classroom activity by approaching students' background knowledge as target culture. Speaking is one way to activate students' ideas, particularly in revealing the culture of Kudus. The qualitative study is used to analyze the integration of cultural identity work and classroom learning at MTS N 2 Kudus. It has a purpose to deliver understanding of students' experience through speaking. MMB is used as a media to ease students to deliver their ideas into speaking. Every concept and idea in MMB is organized into framework of mapping. Hence, students enhance their cultural identity by exploring physical appearance, cultural activities, and their creativity into activities in their everyday lives. Furthermore, cultural identities depict them into sense of belonging also plays a central role in connecting person to social change and act them to study the relationship between the social and the self. By physical appearance, students have identities and self of belonging in society. Thus, it allows mutual influence between self and society. Finally, MMB media is an effective way for students to organize concepts and ideas to support their speaking skills and prepare communication skills in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
