Introduction: Nowadays one of the priority directions of state education policy in Ukraine is the formation of a healthy lifestyle through education, creation health-preserving educational environment in high educational institutions. The aim of our work was to give an analytical estimation of the formation of health value as an integral characteristic of a modern Ukrainian student in high educational institutions of Zhytomyr region, to develop a scientifically substantiated system of diagnosing the value of health in the system of civic values of a future specialist in contemporary socioeconomic conditions. Materials and methods: Two students' surveys were carried out in Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, among young people of 15-22 years old. A number of methods were used: observation, comparison, analysis, synthesis, generalization, the study of products of students' activity, tests, etc. Results: the success of the process of the formation of students` health value depends on the factors such as educational environment, the culture of health, training of university teachers to cultivate health value in collaboration with society, and using modern forms, methods, and tools in the formation of health value. Conclusion: Thus, the policy recommendations for high education institutions are: the prevention of drug addiction, smoking, consumption of alcohol, chronic diseases, Internet addiction; the organization and conduction of mass physical culture and recreational activities; the creation an effective health service system in high educational institutions; the providing the system for monitoring both the future specialists' health and health work results in high educational institution.
Experimental studies of the non-stationary heat exchange in the system «environment I – body II» have been carried out. It is established that in the body II, which consists of the fluid and thin-walled metal envelope, the characteristic features of the regular thermal mode occur, i.e., cooling (heating) rate of the body II- m = const; heat transfer coefficient between the water (environment I) and body II is practically stable α1 = const; uneven temperatures distribution coefficient in the body II ψ = const. This new notion of the heat transfer regularities in the body II is planned to apply for further development of the experimental-calculation method for the forecasting of the heat exchange intensity in the compound fluid media with limited information regarding thermophysical and rheological properties.
The article is dedicated to modern approaches to development of digital civic space of the modern school, which is a new phenomenon in Ukraine. A brief analysis of results of recent scientific researches that raise the issue of digital citizenship in postmodern times is given. Theoretical principles and practical experience of European countries to create a digital civic space are considered. Definitions of “civic consciousness” and “digital citizenship”, “creativity”, “postmodernism” are given. Modern approaches to development of digital competence of participants in the educational process are singled out. Vision of the Council of Europe on the components of digital citizenship is considered, which is seen as empowering students and acquiring the necessary digital skills for successful self-realization in the postmodern era. A brief description of the Conceptual Model of Digital Citizenship Education adopted by the Council of Europe is given, emphasizing the importance of systematicity and consistency in its implementation. Prerequisites for achieving results of this Conceptual Model are generalized and highlighted. Tools for auditing the digital civic space of a modern school are proposed, which allows to determine the level of development of basic skills of a digital citizen in all participants in the educational process. The main audit methods for this tool are surveys, audit of school records and determination of access to digital technologies. The importance of integrating the content of the Conceptual Model of Education on Digital Citizenship into the content of subjects is emphasized, which should be reflected in the school documentation at different levels: from the Educational Program to the teacher’s lesson plan. Criteria and indicators for auditing the school’s digital civic space are detailed.
Virtual reality is an important information technology that allows to achieve significant progress in underserved areas. Immersive multimedia, or virtual reality, is a software-simulated environment that simulates physical presence in the real or imagined world. Innovative applications such as high-tech intelligent systems that correlate with the information technologies of display, modelling, building and maintaining networks, artificial touch and computer graphics have made virtual reality a breakthrough in the computing world. Excursions and distance learning in virtual reality are one of the ways to simulate the presence in a city in which a person cannot be physically present at the moment. When viewing virtual tours or attending online classes using videos/photos, the user (applicant/student/learner/teacher) only sees a flat image and cannot interact with it. In this way, the effect that the user is present in that place is lost. Virtual reality with the effect of full immersion allows to eliminate these disadvantages almost completely, and to provide the opportunity to interact with objects located on the virtual stage with the help of real body movements. In addition, in a short period of time, with the help of virtual reality, the user can visit many places, literally without leaving home. This is impossible to do in real life, as certain places are located at a great distance from the user. The object of the study is the process of conducting an interactive excursion and distance learning on the basis of the Department of Information Systems and Networks of the Lviv Polytechnic National University in virtual reality. The subject of the study comprises means, methods of designing and developing the virtual reality information system of excursions and distance learning using virtual reality information technologies. The practical significance of the obtained results is the implemented information system for conducting interactive excursions and distance learning on the basis of the university department. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is an information system based on the use of virtual reality, which is intended for online visits to the premises of the university department with elements of full immersion, as a platform for career guidance of students or distance learning of students.
