In the context of the COVID19 pandemic, many companies face the problem of declining financial stability. IT companies are unique in this aspect, because their field of activity is entirely based on digital platforms and does not require direct contact with customers. Besides, social media marketing is becoming increasingly popular. The study of the impact of social media marketing on improving the financial stability of IT companies becomes urgent under the conditions of fierce competition, when it is necessary to ensure high rates of financial stability. The aim of the study is to determine the impact of social media marketing on improving the financial stability of IT companies. The sample of the study includes the 20 largest IT outsourcing companies in Ukraine in 2020. The study was conducted using linear regression models, which were tested by the least squares method. The impact of social media marketing was introduced into the model through the use of a dummy variable. The results of the study showed that social media marketing has a positive statistically significant impact on Profitability of Cash, Profitability of Cash Outflow, Profitability of Cash Inflow, Profitability of Net Cash Flow. The obtained results can be used to assess the impact of social media marketing on cash flow indicators and financial stability of IT companies. The study opens up new areas for further research, in particular the impact of the established brand of the IT company in social media on its financial stability.
Today is characterised by the formation and development of an open, civilised society; there are fundamentally new forms of communication-based on the social and personal partnership, competition, legal and social foundations of formal equality of all citizens, the rational regulation of social relations. The quantity and quality of communications are continually growing, a significant number of people are involved in the communication process, the relationship between individual communications becomes close, the action of communications whose network has reached a global scale is growing. Modern communication society is characterised by a constant increase and globalisation of communications. The consequence of this development of society is the extremely limited financial resources, significantly narrowing the range of measures and tools to improve the management of the organisation as a whole and its staff, in particular, on the one hand, and changes in the emotional and mental spheres of the employee. Therefore, in their study, the authors considered the concept of communication, types of communication, their impact on the management process of the organisation and identified the role and functions of social communications in personnel management. The authors studied and analysed the methods of personnel management in detail. Based on the theoretical and methodological analysis, the authors proposed a system for managing the behaviour of staff through social communications; proposed a matrix for the distribution of responsibilities and this system and proposed a method for evaluating its effectiveness.
Modern society is a complex multilevel system in which many people coexist with their values and problems. And not all contemporary society members can adapt to its many rules, so sometimes people find themselves outside the community and need the help of social services. The study aims to improve social work tools as an element of social communication under the influence of digitalization. As the research has shown, changing conditions of reality make their adjustments to all aspects of society, including social work tools: they should be modern, relevant, effective, promising and long-term. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted society's challenges and social work to help people overcome personal and social hardships more than ever. To do this, the authors studied the features and tools of social work, analyzed social communication through social work prism, and suggested ways to improve social work. Thus, the authors proposed the Algorithm for enhancing the organization and conduct of social work through social communications and a methodology for calculating the effectiveness of social work, which are convenient to implement digitally. The developed measures will significantly improve the organization and conduct of social work.
The aim of the article is to determine the effectiveness of various international tools designed to develop students’ English-language communicative competencies. Several scientific methods were used: observation, testing, experimental training etc. Statistical processing of the data obtained during pedagogical experiment was carried out, visualization with the use of graphic method is applied. The description and verbal recording of the results of the study confirm its effectiveness. During the research, experimental training was carried out with the use of social media applications for the development of foreign language communicative competence in second-year students of groups G1, G2. Observations and testing of students while developing foreign language communicative competence were carried out while writing e-mails and creating videos for TikTok in English. The educational platforms, programmes, Internet resources were also used in accordance with the goals and topics of training sessions. The practical results prove the advantages of certain social media applications in the acquisition of English-language components of communicative competences (CCC). G1 students demonstrated a standard procedure for acquiring a linguistic, socio-cultural CCC with a “lag” of the regional geography component. In G2 group, the higher levels of CCC were observed in most cases. Mostly positive markers of Communicative Competences were demonstrated at the medium (344.1 points, 69.8% of G1 respondents) and a sufficient level (371.0 points, 75.8% of G2 respondents). Promising “growth points” were identified. The directions concerning further developments of progressive methods are highlighted.
