Diversification of energy sources and innovative development of the energy sector are one of the main directions for ensuring sustainable development and decarbonization of the economy. The aim of the article is to identify connections and interactions between the parameters of energy innovation development and economic growth. Factor analysis was used for this purpose. The results and conclusions determine the most influential factors among the 5 components identified in accordance with the functional areas of innovative development of the national economy in energetics. The analysis allowed to identify the main trends in the development of factors, which allowed to identify positive and negative changes. The regularities of the influence of certain factors on energy innovations have been determined, which has allowed to provide recommendations for their further development and regulation
This study is relevant due to the multidimensionality and interdependence of industrial development and the indicators of innovation and technological activities and marketing efficiency. The use of economic and mathematical modelling of dependencies between key macroeconomic parameters of the national economy development made it possible to qualitatively analyse the impact of the indicators of marketing efficiency, innovation and technological activities on the parameters of industrial development. The influence of the volume of financing for innovation activity, the introduction of new technological processes and the volume of production of innovative types of products on the change in the volume of sold industrial products is econometrically taken into account. The multidimensionality of the dependencies of choosing an effective model of the dependence of the volume of sold industrial products on the factors in innovation and technological activities was the reason for building a power model. The uniqueness of using an integrated model of the dependencies of innovation and technological activities and industrial development lies in taking into consideration latent factors that influence changes in industrial production, including funding for innovation in the country’s industrial sector, the number of new technological processes and the level of mastering the production of new innovative types of products. The effectiveness of the study is explained by the fact that the selected system of indicators and dependencies helped to identify a number of risks to Ukraines’ industrial development, for example, a critical decline in innovation and technological activities of industry.
The relevance of the study is conditioned by changing approaches to the development of the national economy based on energy innovation in the context of aspects of greening the economy, energy independence, energy conservation and synergy of innovation. The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual model of innovative development of the national economy in the energy sector in the context of established trends of increasing energy consumption. The study was conducted in two stages based on a systematic approach involving general scientific theoretical methods, namely analysis, synthesis, systematisation, generalisation, and structural method. The paper substantiates the need to study innovative national economic development within the energy sector based on the works of foreign scientists. The study considered the main approaches to the definition of the term “innovation” in the context of economic space, including process-oriented and functionally effective ones. The paper established the relationship between the stages of the life cycle of innovation and the development level of the national economy. The study also provides the characteristic of change of technological ways of social and economic relations within the limits of historical retrospect. The structural and functional features of the category “development” are determined in order to study the conceptual foundations of innovative development of the national economy. The study highlights the main models of innovative development in world practice. The author identified the specific features the basic concepts of innovative development of the national economy in the energy sector, including “cluster concept”, “alternative energy”, “Smart Grid”, “concept of sustainable development”, based on which the author created the conceptual model for the innovative economic development in the energy sector. Prospects for further research involve the study of the practical application of the model created for the innovative economic development in the energy sector
The system of indicators for assessing the impact of the components of technological growth on economic security is generalised. This task is carried out by selecting a system of indicators (40 indicators), which, on the one hand, are consistent with one another and with key indicators used in analysing the state of economic security, and which are identified by the components of technological development, on the other hand. The standardisation of the values of initial data i.e. indicators, the determination of the degree of their deviations from the reference parameters and further integral assessment helped to find a generalised indicator of the state of development and the influence of technological growth on the parameters of the system of economic security. The purpose of the study is to test tools for forecasting modelling of the results of assessing the impact of technological growth on economic security. In accordance with the purpose, the level of relationships between the indicators of technological growth and the level of economic security is assessed. High, average and low levels of their relationship is revealed. The obtained results made it possible to forecast the rates of technological growth, perform exponential smoothing of the forecast estimates of the impact of the components of technological growth on economic security and employ damping measurement of the forecast level of the dependence of technological growth and economic security. Taking into account trends in technological growth, the system of indicators of the forecasting model for assessing economic security is expanded. The accuracy of the forecast is determined by the limits of the analysed period of the dynamics of the indicators – from 2013 to 2019, considering the impact of changes in the methodology for calculating individual input data according to statistical sources for the period under study. The use of forecasting models to assess the impact of technological development on Ukraine’s economic security will help identify political, economic, social and technological factors that will stimulate investment, strengthen economic openness, increase the volume and share of domestic high-tech exports, and thus, strengthen economic security.
