This qualitative review is on management control attributes and organisational performance; the study tried to determine how much financial control, budget control and marketing control affect organisational performance. Theoretical foundations were established, and extant literature drew to uphold or invalidate these positions. Qualitative literature established a significant relationship between the objectives and corporate performance values. Recommendations and conclusions were drawn accordingly from the ranks set.
The study evaluated qualitatively the relevance of green branding in service firms. Drawing the manufacturing industry perspective. Two objectives were drawn for this bordering on environmental actors and green innovation as it affects competitive advantage, The extant literature revealed a strong impact of these predator variables on competitive advantage in service industry management. The findings was that the performance of green innovation, product and process has a positive influence on the performance of the firms, although green innovation process is rarely discussed in the literature, it is very important to highlight the green innovation process, as it is easy to imitate the final product, compared to the process. Recommendations were made on the need to continue to uphold green innovation and major environmental factors to promote firm performance and profitability.
This study investigated the impact of conflict management on employees’ productivity in a public sector organisation, a case of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). This study adopted the survey research design. A total of 100 respondents were selected for the study using stratified sampling technique. Questionnaire was used to collect primary data. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics. Hypotheses were tested through regression analysis and correlation coefficient. The findings revealed that effective conflict management enhance employee’s performance in an organisation and that organisation’s conflict management system influences employee performance in the organisation. It was recommended that organisation should embark on training and retraining of its employees in area of conflict management so as to create a conductive working environment for the employees and that there should be efficient and effective communication between and among all categories of the employees in the organisation. This will reduce conflicting situations in the organisation.
The main objective of the study was to compare management disruptions and business growth in both public and private sector enterprises. It involved four public sectors and four private sector enterprises, which comprised 221 respondents from staff and management of the enterprises as the sample size for the study. A stratified sampling technique was adopted for the study. Validated structured questionnaires were used for data collection. The statistical techniques adopted for processing the data and testing the hypotheses for this study were comparing mean using independent samples t-test via the use of statistical package for social science (SPSS) software version 21. Descriptive statistics and frequency analysis was used to explain the tables of the various variables. The mean response was tested using a student t-test. The findings of the study revealed that personal values which is the first variable revealed that there is no significant difference in ethical leadership and business growth between the Public and Private enterprises (Sig = .728, P>0.05). Similarly, Social values which is the second variable showed that there is no significant difference in management disruptions and business growth between the Public and Privateenterprises (Sig =.238, P>0.05). Moral values which is the third variable showed that there is also no significant difference in management disruptions and business growth between the Public and Private enterprises (Sig =.007,P>0.05). The study concluded that the leadership of the public and private enterprise should have the ethical values, interpersonal qualities and capabilities to carry out the different tasks as needed by the organizations. Hence, the study recommended that the efforts in promoting management disruptions practices in public and private enterprises must start and be perceptible at the top of the organization.
This study while focusing on revenue context rather than financial looked at relationship marketing and tax compliance in Delta state organizations. Trust commitment communication and empathy were the variables used to measure the influence of relationship marketing on revenue generation. The study an extant literature review and qualitative adopted a mixed research method. The findings revealed a significant relationship between the independent variables and dependent variables. The study consequently recommended after the reviews that the sub-variables should be sustained to enhance revenue generation and organizational effectiveness.
