Abstract. In article one of the ways of modelling of the locked-up stresses caused by imposing of a welding seam in a plate is described. These stresses are caused by residual deformations of welding seams. In the settlement scheme the welding seam is presented in the form of an element by the thickness equal to the thickness of a plate, inserted in it with a longitudinal and cross-section tightness. The field of locked-up stresses around the welding seam experiences longitudinal and cross-section shrinkage under cooling and it is defined in work with the use of complex potentials of the theory of elasticity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
