Pemerolehan bahasa merupakan sebuah proses yang dilalui anak-anak sebagai upaya dalam memperoleh bahasa pertama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pemerolehan bahasa terhadap anak dalam bidang sintaksis khususnya mengenai jenis-jenis kalimat yang sering diucapkan oleh anak. Data penelitian ini adalah kalimat yang dituturkan oleh subjek penelitian yaitu seorang anak perempuan kelas 1 SD berusia 7 tahun 4 bulan berinisial DA. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah gawai milik Ibu DA yang digunakan untuk merekam ujaran anaknya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak bebas, libat, cakap, rekam yang dibantu oleh ibu DA, dan catat yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Urutan dalam menganalisis data yaitu: (1) pengumpulan data (2) mereduksi data yang terdiri dari proses transkripsi data, mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, dan pemaknaan (3) menyajikan data yang sudah diklasifikasi berdasarkan jenis kalimat ke dalam tabel dan (4) Tahap akhir yaitu penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa DA telah mampu membuat kalimat deklaratif, imperatif, dan interogatif. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yakni jenis kalimat yang dituturkan oleh anak bergantung pada situasi dan kondisi, pada kasus ini subjek lebih banyak mengucapkan kalimat deklaratif. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi untuk meneliti pemerolehan sintaksis khususnya jenis kalimat yang sering digunakan oleh anak usia 7 tahun 4 bulan.
