Background: Factors that cause anemia are diet, blood loss, chronic infection, micronutrients, or congenital abnormalities of red blood cells or Hb. Iron deficiency is a common cause of anemia, iron deficiency occurs when there is inadequate intake and absorption of iron even though iron is very important for the growth of human cells, especially during adolescence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between information media and interest in choosing complementary therapies or pharmacology if symptoms occur or anemia is diagnosed. Methods: This was a cross-sectional analytic research. The research population was all Midwifery Students of the Nahdlatul Ulama Institute of Health Tuban 2nd semester Age 18-23 years, data collection was carried out in April 2022. The sample size was calculated using the slovin formula, obtained 46 samples, side technique using simple random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire via google form which has been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis of the data used was the Contingency Coefficient with an alpha value of 0.05 using SPSS. Results: Almost half of the respondents (26.1%) who received information about anemia from electronic media were interested in using pharmacological therapy for anemia and almost half of the respondents (30.4%) who received information from print and electronic media were interested in choosing pharmacological therapy for anemia. Data analysis using contingency coefficients showed an insignificant relationship p = 0.938 (> 0.05) between information media about adolescent anemia and interest in complementary or pharmacology therapies,. Conclusion: possible environmental factors that could influence a person's behavior of interest in choosing complementary or pharmacology therapies. Baby massage can be done by parents. Many parents are still afraid and rarely carry out baby massage and or baby gym with their abilities, so they prefer to use the services of a baby massage practitioner and or baby gym. With this baby massage and baby gym therapy, the body's immune resistance can increase, as well as the development of intelligence to support optimal growth and development. The purpose of this community service is to optimize the role of parents to improve children's health during the COVID-19 pandemic. The community service implementer coordinates with the Village Midwife in the Meraurak Health Center Work Area, Tuban. Parents who were willing to take online classes collect cellphone numbers to the Village Midwife, then a WhatsApp online class group has been created by implementing community service activities. Online classes were held in WhatsApp online classes 2 times. The evaluation of the results was carried out by giving a google link for the pretest and posttest question forms, to measure the results of the transfer of knowledge through the online WhatsApp class. The evaluation of the results was then carried out in limited meetings by visiting each village at the village hall in the Meraurak sub-district. One day 2 villages by bringing representatives of 3 parents of babies/toddlers to practice baby massage and baby gym. After conducting health education about baby massage and baby gym, there was an increase in good knowledge of 23.6%. Increasing knowledge and empowering parents to be skilled in doing baby massage and the baby gym itself is expected to be one way to optimize the growth and development of children, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: Online class, baby massage, baby gym AbstrakBaby massage sebenarnya dapat dilakukan oleh orang tua. Banyak orang tua yang masih takut dan jarang melaksanakan baby massage dan atau baby gym dengan kemampuan sendiri, sehingga lebih memilih menggunakan jasa praktisi baby massage dan atau baby gym. Dengan terapi baby massage dan baby gym ini daya tahan imunitas tubuh dapat meningkat, begitupula dengan perkembangan kecerdasan untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang yang optimal. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan peran orang tua untuk meningkatkan kesehatan anak selama masa pandemi covid-19. Pelaksana pengabdian masyarakat melakukan Koordinasi dengan Bidan Desa di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Meraurak, Tuban. Orang tua yang berkenan untuk mengikuti kelas online mengumpulkan nomor hp ke Bidan Desa, kemudian telah dibuatkan grup kelas online WhatsApp oleh pelaksanan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kelas online dilaksanakan di kelas online whatsapp 2 kali. Evaluasi hasil dilakukan pemberian link google form pertanyaan pretest dan posttest, untuk mengukur hasil transfer of knowledge melalui kelas online whatsapp. Evaluasi hasil selanjutnya dilakukan pertemuan terbatas dengan mendatangi per-desa bertempat di balai desa di wilayah kecamatan meraurak. Satu hari 2 desa dengan mendatangkan perwakilan 3 orang tua bayi/balita untuk mempraktekkan baby massege dan baby gym. Setelah dilakukan edukasi kesehatan tentang baby massage dan baby gym, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan baik sebesar 23,6%. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemberdaayaan orang tua untuk terampil dalam melakukan baby massage dan baby gym sendiri diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak khususnya di masa pandemi covid-19.Kata kunci: Kelas online, baby massage, baby gym
The preconception period starts from the desire to have children until 9 weeks after conception or up to 10 weeks of gestation. This study was to provide health education about pre-conception reproductive health for women of childbearing age during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was a Quasi-Experimental Design with pretest-posttest group approach. The intervention used was in the form of providing online preconception reproductive health education through video media in the Fatayat NU group, Tuban. The research population was 40 representatives of Fatayat NU throughout Tuban Regency. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire which was distributed online via the Google Form link on the Whatsapp group, before and after online health education respondents were given a questionnaire. Data analysis used in this research was Wilcoxon. The results showed that most of the respondents at the time of the pretest most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge of 27 respondents (67.5%), then after the post-test, in general, respondents had good knowledge of 31 respondents (77.5%). Data analysis result obtained p-value=0.000, because the p-value0.05 which indicates an increase in Pre-Conception Reproductive Health Knowledge through Online Education During the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Men who do not have sufficient knowledge about family planning will not be motivated to participate in using contraception. This research is a Pre-Experimental Design research with a pretest-posttest approach. The intervention used was in the form of providing health education about contraception to men in the male group (husbands) who met the inclusion criteria in Karangsari Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency. The study population was 50 men (husbands) who met the inclusion criteria in Karangsari Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency in June 2021. Sampling in this study is a non-probability sample with purposive sampling technique. The desired criteria in this study are men (husbands) who meet the inclusion criteria in Karangsari Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency as many as 50 people in June 2021. Data analysis used in this study is to use the McNemar Test with the help of SPSS with a significant limit of p-value <0.05. The results of the study after the post-test, almost all respondents still chose not to be interested in doing a vasectomy, namely 43 (86%), there were only 4 respondents who were interested after health education was not interested and were given health education. The analysis using the McNemar Test statistical test obtained a p-value = 0.125, because the p-value > 0.05 which indicates only a few are interested, there is no significant increase in interest in using a vasectomy before and after giving education about contraception.
Health services such as health education or online questions and answers, especially during a Covid-19 pandemic, can use telehealth. This community service was to provide education and consultation on questions and answers about reproductive health. The method used in this community service activity is innovation and modification of consulting services, questions and answers such as midwifery questions and answers which are usually carried out directly, as an effort to bring midwifery services closer to the community in the form of online question and answer consultations using Google Form media as the initial registration medium. then followed by electronic messages using WhatsApp media as a follow-up media for the question and answer consultations. The community service result showed that almost half of the respondents (42.8%) asked about the topic of reproductive health about infertility. All respondents (100%) answered the questionnaire satisfied with the educational answers from the organizers. Independent practice midwives can use e-health solutions for solutions to overcome patient queues and make an initial agreement before meeting face to face for follow-up examinations, the e-health program can also be a superior service program from independent midwife practices.
