Model Pembelajaran CTL dari pendapat para tokoh-tokoh dapat kita simpulkan bahwa CTL adalah konsep belajar yang membantu guru mengkaitkan antara materi yang diajarkanya dengan situasi dunia nyata siswa dan mendorong siswa membuat hubungan antara pengetahuan yang dimilikinya dengan penerapan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Ditinjau dari segi bahasa, hasil belajar diartikan sebagai hasil yang dicapai seseorang yang ditunjukkan oleh apa yang telah digunakan sebagai alat ukur untuk melihat tingkat keberhasilan setelah melakukan usaha tertentu. Bioteknologi merupakan salah satu pembelajaran biologi dalam penggunaan makhluk hidup dan proses didalamnya untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu. Bioteknologi memanfaatkan bakteri, ragi, alga, sel tumbuhan, atau jaringan hewan. Penerapan bioteknologi memadukan berbagai disiplin ilmu, seperti mikrobiologi, biokimia, genetika, biologi molekuler, kimia, rekayasa proses, dan teknik kimia. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran CTL terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bioteknologi di MAN 1 Pangandaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2021. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dokumen hasil belajar siswa kelas XII IPA 1 sebanyak 25 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dokumen hasil belajar siswa model CTL, pedoman wawancara, observasi, serta beberapa dokumen lain yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar diantaranya RPP, bahan ajar yang digunakan, serta media pembelajaran. Teknis analisis data melalui reduksi, menyajikan data, dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model CTL berada dalam kategori baik. Ketercapaian tersebut tentunya tidak terlepas dari berbagai faktor baik dalam diri siswa maupun dari lingkungan belajar.
