This paper is based on a study on students’ vocabulary of grade seven in junior high school using word game. This study is conducted based on the preliminary study which indicated that the students felt difficulties in learning English because of the lack of vocabulary.The subjects are 38 students who consist of 28 male, and 10 female students at seven grade of one of junior high schools in Gresik. The purpose of this study is to improve students’ vocabulary achievement through word game. The data is collected by interview, observation, questionnaires and test. The data is analyzed by using triangulation. The research design of this study is classroom action research which consist of four steps: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of this study shows that word game can help students to memorize the vocabularies easier motivate students and make them more interested in learning vocabulary.
The application of Curriculum 2013 influenced teaching learning process in schools. Some hours of technology and English subjects in junior high school are decreased. The materials from English book that provided by the government especially for reading are too simple. It needs supplement materials to support the students’ ability in English. The researcher does 4 steps to product the supplement materials, they are: Need Analysis, Identifying the Syllabus, Developing the Material, Expert’ Reviews and Product Try-out. The supplement product aboard with the following criteria: (1) the content is relevant with Curriculum 2013 and students’ level; (2) the procedure in operating is easier for the students; (3) the exercises and feedbacks are clear and relevant with the content; (4) The design is attractive and interesting; (5) the materials should be practical for the students. The materials are found acceptable and appropriate for students at seven grade level as supplement materials.

This study aims to determine the comparison of predictive acceptance of the application of e-filing and e-form. This study utilizes qualitative methods with a comparative approach and data collection techniques were gathered through literature study, field research and interviews. The selection of respondent is done by purposive sampling with the following criteria: (1) taxpayers whose income is from business or free work or employees who are still active in a company, (2) Own NPWP and obliged to report SPT 1770 or 1770 S, (3) experienced reporting his Personal Annual Tax Return either through e-filing at least twice and also e-form at least once through the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) website. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to 10 respondents. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. There are four aspects analyzed to determine the predictions of acceptance of e-filing and e-form: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influences and facilitating conditions. Based on the analysis, the result shows that overall e-filing is still well received compared to e-form. There are still many taxpayers who feel difficulty with the use of e-form in the report tax return.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of extensive reading on students’ reading achievement for senior high school grade X. The extensive reading was an alternative method in the teaching reading to make the students fun and easy to get the meaning of texts from many sources. The subjects were 27 students at grade X in the academic year 2018/2019. The researcher applied by using in a quasi-experimental design using a quantitative approach. The instrument of this research used pre-questionnaires, test and observation. The technique of analyzing data was applied by using a paired sample t-test from the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 22 (SPSS22). The result of the analysis showed that the mean of the pre-test was 79, 85 and the mean of post-test was 85, 56. The mean score of posttest was higher than pretest in experimental class who were taught by extensive reading. It concluded that the implementation of the extensive reading can give positive effects to the students. It was supported by the result of observation showed that the students were enthusiastically to answer the question, many vocabularies, fun, enjoyable, easy to understand the meaning of the texts and more active in the teaching learning.
