This study aims to cluster earthquake events in Bengkulu Province and describe the characteristics of each group based on clustering results. The method used is Fuzzy c-Means Clustering. The clustering results show that although clustering is formed based on the location of latitude, longitude, and depth, the data is only clumped by depth. Based on the XB index and the Silhouette index the three best clustering sequences are clustering using 2 clusters, 5 clusters, 8 clusters.
Bengkulu City is one area that has the potential to be hit by the tsunami disaster. Therefore an evacuation route is needed that can be used when a disaster strikes. In this study, a weighted graph is made by considering the node as a road intersection, the edge as the road connecting it, and weight as a fuzzy output obtained based on the length and width of the road. Furthermore, the evacuation route is obtained by calculating the smallest number of weights from each intersection to the cluster point using Dijkstra Algorithm. The result is an evacuation route that consider the length and width of the roads.
Quantitative literacy is the ability and confidence in using basic mathematical concepts and calculating operations needed for problem solving, decision making of economic problems and their applications in everyday life. Mastery of basic mathematics is an absolute requirement for achieving good quantitative literacy skills. The aim of this activity was to improve mathematical literacy skills of the students at SMA 8 Bengkulu City. The activities were begun by giving pre-tests to students, preparing of modules, presenting the materials of the modules in classroom, practicing through LKS and post-tests. Several techniques, methods and approaches in number counting operations have been presented in this activity. This activity has provided an increase in quantitative literacy skills in class XI IIS-1 SMA 8 Kota Bengkulu. Even so, the improvement of students' abilities can be said to be less optimal because there are still some questions that cannot be answered by almost all students. Therefore, cooperation and involvement of all parties is needed to improve students' quantitative literacy skills and follow-up activities in an effort to strengthen quantitative literacy skills.
People in the world, including students, in social isolation during the Coronavirus pandemic, must stay at home, separate themselves from others and implement health protocols. As a consequence, university students must learn from home and distance learning online. This study aims to find the link between internet use and loneliness in 620 students in several cities in Java and Sumatra. The results showed the average internet usage was 10 hours per day, and the average nightly sleep was 6.5 hours per day, the average nap or nap was 1.3 hours per day. There is a very significant relationship between loneliness and online activity.
