Pakan merupakan faktor penting dalam kegiatan budidaya ikan secara intensif. Penggunaan Lemna minor sebagai bahan baku pakan karena mudah didapat dan mengandung nutrisi yang baik. Adanya kandungan serat yang tinggi pada Lemna minor sehingga sulit untuk dicerna dan memerlukan proses fermentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan pakan tepung Lemna minor fermentasi terhadap pertumbuhan ikan bawal. Metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, terdiri dari A tanpa tepung Lemna minor fermentasi, B tepung Lemna minor fermentasi 10%, C tepung Lemna minor fermentasi 20% dan D tepung Lemna minor fermentasi 30%. Data yang diamati yaitu jumlah konsumsi pakan (JKP), efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP), Laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR) dan sintasan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan C (tepung Lemna minor fermentasi 20%) mampu menghasilkan rata-rata JKP sebesar 287,33 g, EPP sebesar 0,052%, RGR sebesar 0,090%/hari dan SR sebesar 100%Feed is an important factor in intensive fish aquaculture activities. The composition of high fiber in Lemna makes it difficult to digest and requires a fermentation process. This study aims to learn how to use Lemna fermentation flour on the growth of pomfret. Method used was completely randomiza design with 4 treatments and 3 replications, consisting of A without Lemna flour fermented, B Lemna flour fermented 10%, C Lemna flour 20% fermentation and D Lemna flour 30% fermentation. Interesting data are the amount of feed consumption, increased feed efficiency (EPP), relative growth rate (RGR) and survival rate. The results showed that the treatment of C (Lemna minor flour fermentation of 20%) was able to produce an average JKP of 287.33 g, EPP of 0.052%, RGR of 0.090%/day and SR of 100%
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ragi roti terhadap pertumbuhan ikan bawal (Colossoma macropomum). Ikan bawal yang digunakan berukuran 5-8 cm dengan berat awal 11,35 gr. Rancangan penelitian berupa rancangan acak lengkap dengan empat perlakuan yaitu, A (0 gr ragi roti/ kg pakan), perlakuan B (5 gr ragi roti/kg pakan), perlakuan C (10 gr ragi roti/kg pakan), perlakuan D (15 gr ragi roti/kg pakan). Perlakuan E (20 gr ragi roti/kg pakan). Frekuensi pemberian pakan dua kali sehari dengan jumlah pakan berdasarkan 5%bb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ragi roti berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan hidup ikan bawal. Semakin tinggi dosis ragi roti dalam pakan, semakin tinggi pertumbuhan ikan bawal.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of turmeric (Curcuma domestica Val) as an immunostimulant in pomfret (Colosoma macropomum). The test fish were pomfret as much as 150 individuals having an average of 28.78 ± 2.44 g. After acclimatization process, the fish were given turmeric as a treatment with five different doses, each with three replications. The treatments used were A = 0 g, B = 5 g, C = 10 g and D = 15 g turmeric/kg of feed. Duration of feeding was two weeks at a dose of 5%/body weight/day, twice a day at 08.00 am and 16.00 pm. The results obtained showed that the application of turmeric had a significant effect on the total leukocyte of pomfret(P <0.01). Application of turmeric at 15 g/kg of feed proved to be able to increase the number of leukocytes in pomfret. Keywords: Curcuma domestica Val, leukocyte, immunostimulant, growth
Pengembangan budidaya ikan air tawar memerlukan strategi yang melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait mulai dari awal perencanaan sampai pada pelaksanaan di lapangan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan tentang penyusunan perencanaan pengembangan budidaya ikan di Kampung Kuma 1. Kegiatan diikuti oleh Pemerintah Kampung Kuma 1, Kapitalaung bersama dengan perangkat kampung, Babinsa, MTK, Ketua PKK, Ketua LPMK, perwakilan dari masyarakat pembudidaya ikan. Kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2020, dengan materi yang diberikan yaitu (1) Potensi budidaya ikan air tawar Kampung Kuma 1, (2) Program pengembangan budidaya ikan air tawar (3) Praktek penyusunan program pengembangan dengan skala prioritas. Hasil kegiatan PKMS dituangkan dalam dokumen usulan rencana pengembangan budidaya ikan. Peserta kegiatan sangat antusias dengan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan karena kegiatan ini dirasa sangat bermanfaat bagi kampung kuma 1 khususnya dalam kegiatan pembangunan, dimana Kampung Kuma 1 yang sementara mempersiapkan perencanaan pembangunan desa untuk tahun 2021. The development of freshwater aquaculture requires a collaborative strategy among fisheries stakeholders, ranging from establishing initial plans to implementation in the field. This community service (PKMS) aimed to provide fisheries extension (fishery advisoy service) and training on fish farming development plan in Kuma 1 Village. It was attended by the vilage’s officials (the local governments, head of the village, Babinsa, MTK, head of PKK, head of LPMK) and representatives of fish farming community from the village. Fishery advisory service and training were carried out in September 2020 with presented materials including (1) Potential of freshwater fish farming in Kuma Village 1, (2) Freshwater fish cultivation development program and (3) Knowledge on how to prioritize fisheries development programs. The results have been written in form of a proposal entitled fish cultivation development plans. The participants were very enthusiastic about this PKMS progam because of its significant contribution to Kuma 1 village, coinciding with the village effort to prepare its 2021 development programs.
Dalam pemanfaatan Lemna minor sebagai bahan baku pakan ikan terkendala dengan nilai kasarnya yang tinggi sehingga menghambat pencernaan dan penyerapan nutrisi dalam saluran pencernaan ikan. Teknologi tepat guna yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah fermentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung lemna fermentasi terhadap pertumbuhan dan rasio konversi pakan ikan bawal. Ikan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ikan bawal berukuran 3-5 cm dipelihara selama 35 hari dan diberikan pakan secara at satiation sebanyak dua kali sehari. Perlakuan lemna fermentasi diberikan pada 4 dosis yaitu (0, 10, 20, 30)%/kg pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan lemna fermentasi 20% dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan bawal, namun pada penambahan lemna fermentasi 30% pertumbuhan ikan bawal cenderung turun. Kesimpulan yang ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah dosis lemna fermentasi 20% merupakan dosis terbaik secara deskriptif dengan nilai laju pertumbuhan spesifik 3,7%/hari, rasio konversi pakan 19,14 dan sintasan hidup 100%. Using Lemna minor as fish feed ingredients constrained by its crude fiber which inhibits the digestive and absorption abilities in the fish digestive systems. The appropriate technology that could overcome this problem is fermentation. The aim of this study was to evaluate fermented lemna supplemented in artificial feed on the growth rate and conversion feed ratio of pomfret fish. Experimental fish used was pomfret fish at the initial size of 3-5 cm and was reared for 35 days and fish were fed twice a day at satiation. The study consists of four dosage (0,10,20,30)%/kg of artificial feed. The results of this study indicates a supplementation of fermented lemna 20% could increase growth performances of pomfret fish although on supplementation of fermented lemna 30% growth performances had a lower growth. The conclusions are supplementation fermented lemna 20% is the best descriptive dosage with a growth specific rate 3,7%/days, feed conversion ratio 19,14 and survival rate 100% of pomfret fish..
