This study aimed to examine the influence of parent’s roles and parenting patterns with gadgets on the social behavior of children. A total of 147 children aged between 5 and 6 years in Raudhatul Athfal, South Amuntai District, were used as samples. The results showed that the role of parents as well as the use of gadgets and social behavior were included in the high category. Democratic parenting was mostly adopted and had a significant influence. Furthermore, the influences of parental role and patterns on the use of gadgets were 0.548 and 0.336, respectively. The influences of parental role and patterns on social behavior were 0.288 and 0.258, respectively. Moreover, the use of gadgets had an influence of 0.218 on social behavior. The relationship between parenting role and social behavior mediated by the use of gadgets scored 0.119. Likewise, the relationship between parenting patterns and social behavior mediated by the use of gadgets scored 0.073.
The rapid advancement of science and technology has an impact on human activities, the majority of which are governed by technology-based media. However, traditional learning media continue to dominate learning in early childhood education. This makes learning less interesting and monotonous. As a result, researchers are interested in developing a valid and effective electronic worksheet based on Mobile Learning on Introducing Wetland Environments using the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation (ADDIE) research and development (R&D) model. Data was gathered using techniques such as interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. This study's data analysis techniques included quantitative and qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the initial product test, mobile learning-based electronic worksheet products were declared valid and effective. This electronic worksheet product can be used by teachers as an Android-based learning media to support interactive and interesting learning activities in early childhood education.
The COVID-19 pandemic has entered its second year in Indonesia so that the learning process during the pandemic still uses online-based learning completely, even though there are plans to simultaneously use online and face-to-face learning to be implemented. This study is intended to describe parental emotional blackmail to teachers who carry out online learning during the pandemic. Then, with emotional blackmail, does it press or motivate teachers to carry out online learning. The research approach is quantitative with descriptive survey-type research, through taking random sampling, namely the respondents who are in the teacher's social media forum, from January to March in 2021. The results of data collection were 897 respondents spread across 4 provinces: Kalimantan Selatan, Jawa Tengah, Kalimantan Timur, Sulawesi Tenggara, and Kalimantan Tengah. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire, descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that 87.7% of respondents stated that they experienced emotional blackmail, parents of students, and teachers who experienced emotional blackmail so that they were pressured to apply online learning during the pandemic period.
