<p>Considerando a crescente ocorrência de problemas ambientais, percebe-se a necessidade da mudança de comportamento e comprometimento a fim de minimizar os impactos das práticas realizadas. Pensando nos problemas com a água, com os mananciais, a fauna e a flora, bens naturais indispensáveis a todos, inclusive para as gerações futuras. A partir desta realidade, a Itaipu Binacional que faz parte da Bacia Hidrográfica do Paraná 3 (BP3), institucionalizou o Programa Cultivando Água Boa (CAB), por meio de Oficinas Pedagógicas. Visando relatar a vivência das agricultoras e dos agricultores, este estudo utilizou-se como suporte a Pedagogia da Autonomia de Paulo Freire, da pesquisa explicativa e participativa para demonstrar as experiências vivenciadas entre os participantes do município de Santa Helena – PR. Evento que ocorreu entre maio e junho de 2016. A partir da oficina pedagógica, onde seus participantes relatam a realidade local, as precariedades com o meio ambiente, estabelece-se o Projeto Carta do Pacto das Águas, onde juntos comprometem-se com as soluções quanto as dificuldades levantadas, e a partir disto, exercem práticas de responsabilidade e comprometimento socioambiental. Observou-se que para o desenvolvimento rural sustentável ser eficiente, a Educação Ambiental é imprescindível, a fim de que as sociedades aprendam a respeitar os limites dos ecossistemas.</p><p><strong>Palavras-chave:</strong> Problemas Ambientais.
