Die praparative Technik war dabei derart, dal3 das Amin in saurer Vsung diazotiert und dann in alkalischem Medium, in dem sich das Cuprein und seine Derivate losen, gekuppelt wird. Der unserer Arbeit zugrunde liegende Gedanke war, mit Hilfe obiger Reaktion die Dihydrocuprein-5-azoarsanilsaure (I) darzustellen, wobei fiir die Wahl gerade dieser Substanz die leichte Zugiinglichkeit der Ausgangsmaterialien mal3gebend war.

Borjanovics am System m-Kresot--Anilin gezeigt, dal3 Temperatursteigerung und isotherme Verdtinnung des bintiren Systems mit einem inerten Stoffe (Benzol) gleichsinnig den Charakter der Kurven der inneren Reibung ~indern. Es war nun yon tnteresse zu untersuchen, ob ein Gleiches auch der Fall w/ire beim System ~n-Kresol--Dimethylanilin, d. h. dab die bei tieferen Temperaturen negative Reibungskurve dutch isotherme Verdfmnung mit Benzol in eine positive oder positiv-negative umschlagen wtirde, /ihntich wie es bei ht3heren Temperaturen nach den in der IV. Mitteilung gemachten Angaben beim reinen bin/iren System ~m-Kresol--Dimethylanilin der Fall zu sein scheint.
