This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the educational application that is applied in Yapita Kindergarten Surabaya. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods. The author focuses on how to apply computer education applications to help students memorize the alphabet. The author made observations during the 3x meeting. Each meeting, they get a different computer education application game but the contents of the material are the same. The application has been installed on every school computer that has been adapted to the material being taught. The subject of the research was TK A, amounting to 30 students. Each student uses the computer provided at each meeting for 30 minutes. The results showed that learning media through varied computer programs in a game will make children more excited and enthusiastic to learn because it is not boring. However, for children who do not understand the alphabetical order, they will experience difficulties and confusion. Also, children who have poorly trained physics will experience difficulties when using the mouse. Keywords: : computer application, alphabetical, enthusiastic, soft motoric
This research is motivated by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which resulted in a change in the education system from conventional to online. This condition requires students to adapt to changes in the learning system. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of PGSD students regarding digital literacy in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is quantitative. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. The population in this study were all 2018 class students, with a sample of 76 students. The data collection method uses a questionnaire with the help of Google Forms. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study show that, in general, the level of perception of PGSD students regarding digital literacy in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic is in the "Medium" category. It implies that the campus must pay more attention to the needs of its students. What can be done is to help increase digital literacy, especially by utilizing online platforms and operating learning applications.
This study aims to describe the factors that cause students' communication difficulties and their percentages in the online learning process. This type of research is the qualitative descriptive approach. They were collecting data using interview sheets and questionnaires. The research subjects were grades IV and V at Mapin Kebak, which amounted to 43 students. The analysis uses the Miles and Hubermen (2019) technique which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the level of students' verbal communication difficulties was very high (0%), high (44.94%), medium (23.60%), low (11.24%), and very low (20.22%). Then, for the qualitative analysis, it can be concluded several things, the factors causing the difficulty of student communication during online learning are 1) lack of mastery of ICT and not being able to operate computers or handphones for online learning, 2) lack of support from parents, 3) poor internet network stable, and 4) expensive internet quota. The solution that teachers do is to conduct BDR (learning from home) in the form of visits to students' homes to provide subject matter, intensify training and workshops on the use of technology for teachers and students, and establish good cooperative relationships with parents.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems of students' learning difficulties in reading skills. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. This research was conducted at SDN 07 Parak Juar Batusangkar. The students in class I consist of 30 people, so the sampling used is purposive sampling. The data collection instrument in this study was the researcher himself (human instrument). With data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques that have been collected in this study, consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study were obtained that learning difficulties faced by students, namely students did not know and were able to memorize all the letters of the alphabet so that reading difficulties were caused by internal and external factors. Internal factors are physical factors, interests, and motivation. While external factors are from the teacher due to ineffective classroom management and curriculum that used by school can’t applied well, then factors from family is the lack of support for children at home. In this study, it can be concluded that the factors that cause learning difficulties for elementary school 1st class learners are not yet recognizing alphabetical letters and have not been able to distinguish letters so that when reading learners are still confused and make mistakes.
