Management of seaweed into a consumable product is one method of increasing the selling price of seaweed. There are groups of processors and marketers of processed seaweed products in the form of ready-to-eat products, such as seaweed lunkhead, seaweed sticks, and seaweed crackers in Kertasari Village, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency. However, the low demand for these seaweed products is due to a lack of marketing. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. This study's data came from both primary and secondary sources. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data. Qualitative data techniques were used in the analysis. According to the findings of this study, there are six alternative strategies that can be implemented: maintaining product quality, cooperating with the government, creating cooking classes, developing new products, marketing via social media, and determining strategic locations.
Transparent fluorophosphate glass containing face center cubic LiF crystals doped with Nd3+/Er3+ were succesfully characterized by melt-quenching method. The sample composition following chemical formula (65-x)P2O5-20LiF-14CaF-1Nd2O3-xEr2O3 (x = 0.0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5 and 2.0 mol%). The density parameter was calculated using Archimedes method in distilled water and this value used to calculating of molar volume. Several physical properties of Nd3+/Er3+ co-doped LFP glasses were calculated and correlated with structural properties. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectrum used to verify the glasses structure. The further structural characteristic was investigated using FTIR. Based on the investigation is discovered that the prepared co-doped glasses shows amorf and high transparency.
Keberhasilan fertilisasi in vitro tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh oosit tetapi juga kualitas spermatozoa, konsentrasi spermatozoa, dan lamanya waktu inkubasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik spermatozoa domba post-thawed yang diinkubasi pada waktu dan konsentrasi yang berbeda dalam medium fertilisasi. Spermatozoa domba berasal dari semen beku domba garut dan ekor gemuk. Konsentrasi spermatozoa yang digunakan adalah 1 dan 5 juta spermatozoa/mL. Setiap kelompok spermatozoa diinkubasi dalam inkubator CO2 5% pada suhu 38,5oC selama 0, 3, dan 6 jam. Setiap akhir masa inkubasi, spermatozoa dievaluasi pola gerak, motilitas, MPU, dan TAU sebanyak tiga ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motilitas total, motilitas progresif, MPU, dan TAU pada kedua bangsa domba dengan konsentrasi 1 dan 5 juta menurun secara signifikan dengan bertambahnya waktu inkubasi. Pola pergerakan spermatozoa kedua bangsa domba pada konsentrasi 1 juta menunjukkan hiperaktivitas pada jam ke 3 inkubasi dengan nilai STR 0,47-0,49% dan nilai LIN 0,33-0,34%, sedangkan pada konsentrasi 5 juta menunjukkan adanya hiperaktivitas pada jam ke 6 inkubasi dengan nilai STR 0,69-0,80% dan nilai LIN 0,52-0,55%. Selama inkubasi, spermatozoa menunjukkan pola renang sedang dengan nilai VCL 50,70-77,85 µ/s. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas spermatozoa setelah inkubasi menurun seiring dengan penambahan waktu inkubasi. Spermatozoa dengan konsentrasi 5 juta menunjukkan nilai motilitas total yang tinggi tetapi nilai progresifnya lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi 1 juta. Hiperaktivitas spermatozoa dengan konsentrasi 1 juta dapat terjadi pada jam ke 3 sedangkan kosentrasi 5 juta dapat terjadi pada jam ke 6 waktu inkubasi.
Fan settings (wind speed) in the cage must be adjusted to the age and weight of the chickens. Any movement of the wind at a certain speed will have an impact on the difference between the actual temperature read on the thermometer and the effective temperature felt by the chickens. This is because there is a cold temperature effect (wind chill effect) due to air movement. On the 1st floor of the KTM cage, there was an error setting the fan on which caused the wind speed to be higher than necessary, causing a wind chill effect. This case caused the performance of the chickens in the 1st-floor cage not to reach the target. To get the ideal temperature and wind speed in the cage, the effort needed is to adjust the fan to turn on taking into account the wind chill effect. Based on the results of considering the wind chill effect in the cage, the value of feed intake, body weight gain, and body weight at the age of 7-35 days appear to be higher with a low feed conversion value and a higher production index.
Doing a community service on workshop on the perspectives of Classroom Action Research (CAR) along with writing its proposal towards Islamic Senoir High School’s teachers is based on urgent necessity letting them develop their knowledge on CAR as well as their writing skills of CAR’s proposal. It is worthy that workshop program is considered as an effective imput for the teachers to do CAR as one the parts of those’s instructional responsibility in purpose of improving learning-teaching activities in his/her classroom. CAR must have been as an important problem-solver to make the classroom’s problem up by doing it that it would have yielded the potential methods to undertake an effective classroom’s activities. The methods used used is based on the solution offered, giving the perspectives on CAR along with traning the teachers to write its proposal. This community program suggests that workshop on Classroom Action research was favorably conducted. It was assessed through questionnaires to require the teachers’ perception on workshop activities, namely their perception on knowledge and understanding on the perspectives of CAR 2.9. Furthermore the teachers’ competency on proposal writing activities were assessed 2.8. the assessment was adapted on Likert’s scale (1-4).
