In this study, we investigate the relationship between green brand positioning (GBK), attitude toward green brand (AGB) and green brand knowledge (GBK) on green product, specifically in beauty and body care products. It also sought to examine consumer’s purchase intention (PI) of this product using those variables. The methodology which is used to analyse the data obtained is using an exploratory quantitative approach. The data evaluated by Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). This study used purposive sampling techniques to determine the sample of employees who work in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek), Indonesia. The outcomes indicate that all these factors contribute to purchase intention of this green beauty and body care product. This study is also found that GBP has a positive direct contribution to AGB, GBK, and PI. Originality and practical implications from this study are that, the green product companies must pay attention to the brand positioning because it would alter consumer’s attitude and intention towards of green products. Thus, companies should focus more on developing promotional messages that are more directed towards sustainable values or optimizing communities that support sustainability lifestyles. More deeply, eco-friendly beauty and body care products are very widely used today, so the results of this research are expected to contribute in terms of how can customer’s intensions are increased in buying these products.
Purpose: This research examines the relationship between expectation, perceived value, social value, and visit intention in Indonesia's Ijen Crater, a renowned destination. Additionally, it sought to examine whether Ijen Crater's uniqueness could attract tourists’ interest in visiting the location. Theoretical framework: This study uses a theoretical basis of consumer behavior to measure tourists through their values. Design/Methodology/Approach: The purposive sampling method was used to select participants aged 17-35 who have never visited Ijen Crater. Out of 248 responses collected through an online survey, 240 were evaluated using the PLS-SEM analysis process. A quantitative exploratory technique was employed to investigate the intention of Indonesian tourists to visit the region. Findings: The results showed that perceived values, expectations, and social values positively influence the intention to visit. However, expectations and social values did not significantly influence the intention to visit. Research, practical & social implications: Based on the research findings, our study emphasizes that social media is able to introduce these tourist attractions more broadly to the public so that people are able to see the beauty and meaningful experiences. Originality/Value: The research's originality lies in demonstrating that destinations unable to showcase their uniqueness cannot generate expectations of motivating tourists to visit. Moreover, destinations not offering core values can only provide tourists with the pleasure of attending festivals, which complement core tourism.
The topic of entrepreneurship in recent years has become an interesting topic to be discussed in depth. This study aims to identify the level of student career plans in entrepreneurship and also to examine whether or not there are differences in the level of student career plans as entrepreneurs based on a gender perspective. A quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive design was used to achieve the research objectives, with the number of respondents being 381 students (232 female and 149 male). There are two analytical techniques used in this study, namely descriptive analysis and Independent Sample T Test. The results showed that the level of student career plans was in the good category, for both female and male categories and no significant difference was found in the level of student career plans in entrepreneurship based on a gender perspective.
Abstrak: Berdasarkan analisis situasi yang dilakukan, permasalahan yang menjadi dasar pengabdian diantaranya masih terbatasnya kemampuan mahasiswa tingkar akhir maupun dosen di beberapa Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Dalam Negeri dalam mengidentifikasi research gap, terbatasnya kemampuan penguasaan teknik parafrasa dan pemanfaatan software plagiarisme. Berdasarkan masalah yang ada,maka tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu memberikan pelatihan komprehensif penulisan artikel ilmiah yang mencakup identifikasi research gap, penguasaan teknik parafrase, serta pemanfaatan software plagiarisme guna mendukung peningkatan publikasi pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta Dalam Negeri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan secara daring yang dilakukan bersama dengan YKPN Yogyakarta dan STIAB Jinarakkhita Lampung sebagai mitra. Pada pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 349 peserta yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa baik dari UNJ maupun dari perguruan tinggi mitra. Evaluasi kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menyebarkan form yang berisi berbagai pertanyaan. Dari hasil form yang disebarkan diperoleh informasi bahwa 61,4% peserta yang menyatakan setuju bahwa mereka dapat memahami dengan baik mengenai materi yang disampaikan serta terdapat 66% peserta yang meningkat pemahamannya dan siap praktik.Abstract: Based on the situation analysis carried out, the problem that became basis of the service include the limited ability of students and lecturers at several Domestic Private Universities in identifying research gaps, paraphrasing techniques and the use of plagiarism software. Based on the problem, the purpose of this community dedication is to provide training in writing scientific articles that include research gaps, paraphrasing techniques, and the use of plagiarism software to support increased publications. This community dedication was carried out in the form of a brave training carried out together with YKPN Yogyakarta and STIAB Jinarakkhita Lampung as partners. This training was attended by 349 participants consisting of lecturers and students. Evaluation of activities by distributing forms containing various questions. From the results of the form distributed, information was obtained that there were 61.4% of participants who agreed that they could understand well the material delivered and there are 66% of participants who increase their understanding and ready to practice.
Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan eksistensi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes), Desa Wisata Edukasi Cisaat, Kecamatan Ciater, Kabupaten Subang-Jawa Barat. Potensi Bumdes Desa Cisaat sebagai badan usaha milik masyarakat desa harus dapat dioptimalkan melalui bidang usaha yang berbasis potensi masyarakat. Sebagai organisasi bisnis, Bumdes harus memiliki visi, misi, disain struktur organisasi yang sesuai, dan program kerja yang tersusun dengan baik agar tujuan mensejahterakan warga desa dapat tercapai. Metode pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan beberapa elemen terkait, meliputi apparat desa, pengurus Bumdes, Pokdarwis, Karang Taruna, Pelaku UMKM serta masyarakat umum. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kapasitas sumber daya manusia pengelola Bumdes terkait kemampuan penyusunan, visi, misi disain struktur organisasi dan program kerja sehingga dapat mendukung kegiatan Bumdes yang efektif.
