The purpose of the article was to find the key problems of transferring the educational process into a distance form, and options for their solution. The changes that have taken place in the world over the past year have posed new challenges for society to which it should have been able to react. The sphere of education found itself in a rather difficult situation. It had to be reorganized in a short time and began to function in a remote communication mode. The author's methodology was based on an empirical study (a survey of teachers and students) to determine the degree of their readiness for a global transition to distance learning. Moreover, sociological, systemic analysis and synthesis scientific methods were used. During the study, the authors have concluded that neither teachers nor trainees were ready for the transformation that took place in the field of education. The problems faced by the participants in the educational process are both technical and psychological. In the technical sphere, there was an acute shortage of equipment used by trainees in the educational process. In addition, the lack of Internet traffic provided made it difficult to exchange information between participants in the educational process. In the psychological sphere, the difficulties have boiled down to the fact that in the new environment the role and degree of responsibility of trainees have increased significantly, which was highly negatively assessed by them. Teachers of the older age group have turned out to be practically unprepared for mastering new methods using technical teaching means. The learning process was mainly reduced to self-preparation of students, during which they were offered to read lecture materials, self-test, independent problem solving and other tasks. At the same time, the interaction between a teacher and trainees was minimized. Some options for the implementation of techniques were proposed in the article. They will help in the future to grade a number of problems, increase the degree of interaction between the teacher and students, making remote learning more convenient and comfortable for many.
Real-time alerting systems typically warn providers about abnormal laboratory results or medication interactions. For more complex tasks, institutions create site-wide 'data warehouses' to support quality audits and longitudinal research. Sophisticated systems like i2b2 or Stanford's STRIDE utilize data warehouses to identify cohorts for research and quality monitoring. However, substantial resources are required to install and maintain such systems. For more modest goals, an organization desiring merely to identify patients with 'isolation' orders, or to determine patients' eligibility for clinical trials, may adopt a simpler, limited approach based on processing the output of one clinical system, and not a data warehouse. We describe a limited, order-entry-based, real-time 'pick off' tool, utilizing public domain software (PHP, MySQL). Through a web interface the tool assists users in constructing complex order-related queries and auto-generates corresponding database queries that can be executed at recurring intervals. We describe successful application of the tool for research and quality monitoring.
The results of analytical studies of the subject and subjectivity in relation to law enforcement officers based on the academicians Eddy V. Sayko and Anatoly A. Derkach’s fundamental research are presented in the article. Service in the internal Affairs bodies is a deterministic system. It is characterized by huge information flows, extreme neuropsychic and emotional loads, and complex interpersonal relationships. In this regard, increased requirements are imposed on employees of all levels of the law enforcement system. After studying the long-term dynamics of the level of readiness of cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia in the framework of self-development, it can be concluded that specialized competencies formed in the classroom according to the traditional system are not transformedinto skills of the highest order. Based on the research, the obvious problem of further improving the methodology of teaching competent actions in the course of performing operational and service tasks in various conditions is revealed. It is reasonable that the traditional learning process involves the development of a specific algorithm of actions in standard situations of operational and service activities, and when introducing various tasks of modeling typical situations, students often cannot complete the task in changing conditions (beyond the standard).
A key role in the prevention of negative personal changes is played by the stable professional selfawareness of OMON officers. With a reduced level of professional self-awareness, either excess of official authority is possible, which in turn will provoke significant negative consequences, or untimeliness, instability in the implementation of professional skills, which will also reduce the performance of official tasks. To date, the problem of developing professional self-awareness among OMON officers remains poorly understood and requires further study. Psychological training can be one of the effective ways of developing professional selfawareness. The purpose of the study is to develop a socio-psychological training for the development of professional selfawareness of OMON officers. The article reveals the problem of finding ways to increase the professional self-awareness of employees of special units of the Russian Guard, using the example of a special mobile detachment. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the authors formulated the definition of an employee’s professional self-awareness and described its structure. On the basis of the proposed model of professional self-consciousness, a training was developed and successfully tested, aimed at the formation and development of substructures of self-consciousness. The article presents data from an experimental study. An analysis of the leading methodological approaches to studying the phenomenon of «professional selfawareness» led to the conclusion that the effectiveness of the professional activities of OMON officers depends not only on professional knowledge, skills and abilities, but also on a number of psychological factors involved in the regulation of this activity. The effectiveness of the training program for increasing the professional self-awareness of employees is confirmed by the statistically significant development of its components, which allows us to recommend it for practical use.
