Ujian berdasarkan kamus besar Bahasa Indonesia dapat berarti sesuatu yg dipakai untuk menguji mutu sesuatu (kepandaian, kemampuan, hasil belajar, dsb). Ujian selain dilaksanakan secara tertulis maupun lisan dapat pula dilaksanakan menggunakan alat bantu komputer. Jika pelaksanaan ujian menggunakan komputer dilaksanakan dalam sebuah jaringan komputer baik itu jaringan intranet maupun internet maka bisa dikategorikan sebagai ujian online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pengkajian ilmiah dalam bentuk Penelitian Pengembangan, atau lebih tepat disebut Penelitian Rekayasa yang berupa Rencana (Plan), Rancangan (Design), Bangunan / kontruksi (Construct), Terapan (Applied), atau Hasil pengembangan (Development) dari suatu Model, Sistem, atau Produk. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan proses rekayasa perangkat lunak sistem ujian online berbasis website. Luaran penelitian adalah analisis kebutuhan, rancangan serta produk perangkat lunak sistem ujian online itu sendiri.
Pertambahan jumlah karyawan Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer / STMIK STIKOM Indonesia disertai dengan segala perubahan data di dalamnya menyebabkan perlu usaha ekstra dalam menyusun daftar gaji tiap bulannya. Adanya sistem informasi penggajian diyakini dapat membuat penyusunan daftar gaji menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan sistem informasi payroll berbasis website yang sesuai dengan proses bisnis di STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Rapid Application Development / RAD dipilih karena metode ini cocok dengan target waktu pengembangan aplikasi yang singkat. Berdasarkan pengujian fungsionalitas sistem menggunakan metode blackbox testing diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan telah mampu memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional sistem dengan baik.
Our previous work regarding the X-Ray detection of COVID-19 using Haar wavelet feature extraction and the Support Vector Machines (SVM) classification machine has shown that the combination of the two methods can detect COVID-19 well but then the question arises whether the Haar wavelet is the best wavelet method. So that in this study we conducted experiments on several wavelet methods such as biorthogonal, coiflet, Daubechies, haar, and symlets for chest X-Ray feature extraction with the same dataset. The results of the feature extraction are then classified using SVM and measure the quality of the classification model with parameters of accuracy, error rate, recall, specification, and precision. The results showed that the Daubechies wavelet gave the best performance for all classification quality parameters. The Daubechies wavelet transformation gave 95.47% accuracy, 4.53% error rate, 98.75% recall, 92.19% specificity, and 93.45% precision.
Student retention can be used as a measure of the university performance. Poor student retention would affect the university because it depicts a poor image of a university management. Student retention can be interpreted as the percentage of students who remain active until they are graduated and then we call these kind of students as active students. In this study, we conducted a research on students database to predict whether they are active or inactive students by using the Support Vector Machine and then at last, we as well measured the quality of the prediction model. We use first and second semester GPA, financial status, work status and student’s origin as predictor attribute. Prediction model that is developed from the student database of STMIK STIKOM Indonesia shown a good result with an accuracy level of 97, 46%. By excluding GPA from SVMs model, the performance of the model decrease. A model with all the attributes used in the classification provides a balance of positive and negative tuples of recognition compared to when one of attributes is omitted from the model.
Regional Water Company (PDAM) Gianyar Regency is one of the regionally owned companies in Gianyar Regency. Gianyar PDAM is responsible for the availability of clean water for consumers in the Gianyar region and its surroundings. In a water distribution system, the PDAM monitors water pressure in the pipeline so that water is guaranteed to flow to the customer. During this time the system of recording water pressure on the manometer installed in each particular zone is done manually using report paper. The difficulty caused is the slow monitoring of water pressure reported by the recording officer to the distribution officer, so that the water distribution process becomes stagnant which ultimately harms the customers and the PDAM itself. This study aims to create a system that can record water pressure which makes it easier for the distribution head to get information quickly. With the research phase which includes data collection techniques, system analysis, and system design to maximize research and implement systems and tests on each system, it can be concluded that the system that has been made can run well and as expected. The functional features generated in this study are the dashboard graph of the average water pressure per month, processing master employee data, processing village master data, processing master manometer data, processing schedule data, manometer monitoring by officers, manometer monitoring by admin and manometer monitoring report .
