Kehidupan sehari-hari sering ditemui bahwa rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap materi yang dipelajarinya sangatlah kurang, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya kompetensi pengetahuan siswa itu sendiri. Rendahnya komptensi pengetahuan siswa tentu sangat berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana (THK) terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan rancangan non-equivalent pretest posttest control grup design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 210 siswa, dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes jenis pilihan ganda biasa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial teknik uji-t separated varians. Hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung sama dengan 6,484 lebih dari ttabel sama dengan 2,002 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berbasis THK berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa sekolah dasar. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapak secara berkelanjutan model pembelajaran yang inovatif discovery learning berbasis THK sehingga berdampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPA siswa.
