Neste trabalho são apresentados alguns referenciais que valorizam registros imagéticos, na forma de uma tabela. A utilização de múltiplas representações é a proposição de que aspectos da alfabetização científica -a proporcionalidade e o processo de argumentação -são promovidos quando os alunos se apropriam de formas de expressões empregadas na construção do conhecimento científico. São destacados aqui os modos de interações com este instrumento de representação e de organização das ideias: os movimentos ergóticos, os gestos dêiticos e os gestos icônicos; as formas de linguagem verbal, cotidiana ou científica; e o direcionamento da atenção visual para alguns aspectos específicos presentes na simulação utilizada sobre o efeito fotoelétrico, que fez parte de uma sequência de ensino investigativo, para a introdução de física moderna, ministrado a uma turma de alunos, da terceira série de Ensino Médio, da Rede Pública de educação do Estado de São Paulo.
Neste trabalho buscou-se investigar o andamento da produção científica voltada para a Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) sobre Ensino de Ciência com um enfoque no Ensino de Física. Para isto, realizou-se uma breve revisão da literatura sobre a trajetória histórica do tardio estabelecimento da EJA no Brasil. Em seguida, fez-se um levantamento dos trabalhos publicados entre 2009 e 2019 nos anais do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC), do Encontro de Pesquisa em Ensino de Física (EPEF) e do Simpósio Nacional de Ensino de Física (SNEF). A partir desses dados foi possível observar em que ano e em que região houve publicações sobre EJA em tais eventos. Percebeu-se também que a quantidade de trabalhos na área é quase inexistente e propôs-se incorporar os estudos sobre EJA com caráter obrigatório nos cursos de licenciatura a fim de que mais professores conheçam as especificidades da modalidade e possam se interessar pesquisar sobre ela.
