The research on the influence of exposure factor on radiographic image quality has been conducted. This research uses phantom, water in plastic container as human substitute with focus film distance (FFD) 100 cm and broad field of irradiation 15 cm × 15 cm. The exposure conditions are given by exposure factors including variations in tube voltages of 60 kV, 65 kV, 70 kV, 75 kV, 80 kV called standard techniques or routine voltage techniques and the time flow is as big as 20 mAs, 25 mAs and 30 mAs. The results showed that the image quality will decrease with the use of current and time high. Image quality can be seen on gray-level histogram using java Image-J Basics version 1.38 software to get optimum value from exposure factor on image quality.
Persentase kemampuan penalaran Conservation thinking41%, proportional thinking 8%, control of variable 11%, probabilistic thinking 12%, correlational thinking 19%, dan hypothetivo-deductive reasoning 13%.
AbstractThis research was carried out with the aim of describing and determining the relationship or influence of curiosity on science learning outcomes at the junior high school level. The research carried out is descriptive statistical research with mixed methods namely qualitative methods and quantitative methods. The study population was students in VII grade junior high school. Retrieving data using questionnaire instruments and multiple-choice test questions. The instrument used was a curiosity questionnaire while the test questions given to students were multiple-choice questions for class VII on the subject of magnitude and measurement. Data analysis uses the help of SPSS software to process data. The test used in this study is the nonparametric correlation test Kendall’s Tau this is because the data is normally distributed but not linear. Based on the research and data analysis obtained by the researcher, the result is that there is no relationship between curiosity towards the results of junior high school student learning on the subject of magnitude and measurement. There is no correlation between the two variables studied proved after the correlation test obtained a significance value of 0.101, which means greater than 0.05.
In agreement with problem-solving skills, identifying conceptual understanding is an supreme topic in physics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the conceptual understanding of pre-service physics teachers, on direct current based electric material "Knowledge in Piece" Theory. The study used a mixed-method approach with an explanatory model with 148 pre-service physics teachers at Jambi University, Indonesia. Data were collected using concept understanding tests and interviews. The students were given a concept understanding test using reasoned multiple-choice question developed to find out the understanding of student concepts, while unstructured interviews were conducted to confirm student answers that were not clear. Data analysis was done by using a rubric which has developed based on the possible reasons for student' answer to the concept of direct current electricity. The result of this study showed that understanding the concept of students in direct current electricity material is still substandard, it is shown from the study data that only 6 people out of 148 students can activate the concept properly and entirely. The findings showed that students' understanding is still in the form of concept pieces. Students are not able to connect concepts appropriately. When students are asked about sub-material, they show a clear understanding, but when the problem is given as a whole, students are not able to connect concepts to the sub-material that they understand correctly. The results were interpreted that the students' understanding had not been coupled coherently, thus consequently that the less dominant resource would be delayed activating than the more dominant resource.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
