This study aims to identify the recurring construction techniques used in buildings for residential use. The methodological procedure adopted was the systematic literature review based on the Prisma 2020 flow diagram. The searches were carried out on the following data base platforms: Google Scholar, Science Direct, Scopus, and Web of Science. The results showed a map of the most used processes and materials, such as masonry with different kinds of blocks, timber, and metallic structures. The results presented herein provide bibliographical references to help researchers and professionals.
A demanda por energia para as diversas atividades humanas tem sido um dos maiores problemas contemporâneos, oriunda a partir de uma série de condicionantes, como as ambientais, econômicas e sociais. A busca por edifícios que produzam sua própria energia é motivada pelo consumo energético dos espaços construídos, pois estes empregam parte significativa da energia produzida para alimentar todo o ciclo de vida: projeto, construção, manutenção, uso e demolição. Este artigo investiga uma forma alternativa de geração de energia nas envoltórias de edifícios a partir do cultivo de microalgas. Os procedimentos metodológicos empregaram levantamentos bibliográficos e de campo e avaliação do clima local. Os resultados alimentam e avançam no conhecimento de edifícios mais sustentáveis empregando microalgas nas fachadas.
