Program stop buang air besar sembarangan(SBABS) merupakan program sanitasi total berbasis masyarakat yang membudayakan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, mencegah penyebaran penyakit berbasis lingkungan, meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat merubah perilaku untuk tidak melakukan aktivitas buang air besar sembarangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh program stop buang besar sembarangan terhadap pencegahan stunting anak baduta di Kabupaten Banggai dan Sigi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan case control. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada wilayah pelaksanaan program stop buang air besar di Sulawesi Tengah dengan prevalensi stunting yang tinggi yaitu Kabupaten Banggai dan Sigi pada tanggal 8 September hingga 7 Oktober 2016. Sampel sebanyak 352 orang anak usia 1-2 Tahun. Pengambilan sampel dengan metode consecutive sampling. Uji perbedaan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Hasil analisis menunjukkan proporsi baduta stunting sebesar 15,6%. Jumlah sampel pada kelompok SBABS sebanyak 116 orang (33,0%) dengan rerata tinggi badan-0,36±1,6 sedangkan pada kelompok non SBABS sebanyak 236 orang (67,0%) dengan rerata tinggi badan-0,94±1,5. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara pertumbuhan baduta kelompok SBABS dengan non SBABS (p=0,002). Program stop buang air besar sembarangan mencegah stunting anak baduta di Kabupaten Banggai dan Sigi.
Enzymatically induced calcite precipitation (EICP) is a new breakthrough for liquefaction prevention. This approach uses urease enzyme directly instead of bacteria to hydrolyze urea that precipitated as calcite crystal by the availability of calcium ion. Cyclic triaxial shear test under undrained condition incorporated with bender element test were conducted conscientiously on the EICP-treated sands. The parameters study reviewed includes: size of the sand particle, confining pressure, calcite contents, and saturation degrees along curing. The effects of those factors on the shear modulus are systematically investigated and compared. It was revealed that the precipitated calcite wraps the sand particles, which supports simultaneously to the mechanical properties’ improvement. The sum of materials needed of urea and CaCl2 to reach a target of maximum shear modulus can be diminished prominently by reducing the saturation degree along curing. It is also revealed that the formation of the precipitated calcite is more significant than its amount on the strength improvement. The maximum shear modulus (Gmax ) of the sands treated with EICP increases with increasing in the calcite content, confining pressure, and decreasing in the saturation degrees during curing but the influence of the sands grain size is insignificant.
An antenna is a device that can receive electromagnetic waves at the receiver, and radiate electromagnetic waves on the transmitter. With the antenna we can receive information transmitted by the transmitting station through the receiver. In other words antenna helps in doing long distance connection with transmitter. In general, the antenna used to receive television signals uses many elements such as driven, reflectors, and directors. But in this study the antenna was made by using a parabolic reflector with a half-lambda driven dipole without using a director.Antenna is made there are several parameters measured as a proof of the success of the antenna. The parameters are: antenna gain, antenna impendance, VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio). The success of the antenna is also determined by the antenna's ability to receive a television signal which can also be seen by performing a direct test of the antenna.
This study aimed to describe the reflection of the professionalism of general English lecturers at USN Kolaka. This reflection was very important as the first gateway for evaluating the quality of general English learning at USN Kolaka. The study was motivated by the university’s low state of general English learning. For this purpose, this study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 8 (eight) general English lecturers at USN Kolaka. The results of the questionnaire showed that the 8 (eight) lecturers reflected on their professionalism at a high level, In contrast, the results of the interview confirmation showed that every professional indicator has been carried out but not optimally. Thus, it was concluded that there was an effort by the general English lecturer at USN Kolaka to improve their professionalism. This study recommends follow-up support from the university to increase the number of lecturers in terms of good governance management process for lectures welfare.
