Abstract-Blended-learning approaches are now widely used in Thai education. Most of schools and universities have attempted to use the innovative learning approach to interact with students as well as to deliver education resources to them. This has also created more chances for student interactions with teachers as well as peers through online discussion site. Furthermore, using CMS allows students to access the contents anytime from inside and outside the classroom. This study analyses the perspective of students and teachers on CMS; discusses benefits and challenges of blended-learning approach; recommendshow to effectivelyadapt traditional classroom setting with blended-learning.The results illustrated positively perspective from both students and teachers. However, active learning environment and responsibility of students should be enhanced when adapting blended-learning approach. This research aims to study tourist preferences and expectations in health tourism of Ban Thung Pradu. Tourist motivation is divided here into push and pulls types of motivation. The research also analyzed service marketing mix (7Ps) which is affecting tourist decisions to travel to Ban Thung Pradu. The population of this study consisted of those tourists who visited Ban Thung Pradu recently. Probability sampling method and simple random sampling were used to select the sample group. There were 69 samples in this research. The questionnaire was used to collected data from the sample. Questions covered various sides of tourist motivation and service marketing mix. The results show that learning new experience from a new environment has the most influence on tourist decision-making. Further motivations influencing decision-making include the reward received after hard work, spending time with friends, having good vacation time, and participating in an interesting activity respectively. Decision-making in terms of activity was affected by motivation the most. This was, probably, because of the interesting activities involved, good home stay, and professionalism of the service providers in Ban Thung Pradu.
As information and communication technology (ICT) becomes part of our life, we need to understand how to effectively use it. Especially, when internet can be reached by all, money transaction and buying products/services through online platform becomes normal. Because of this, digital technology can help to complete our needs. This research, thus, aims to analyze senior citizens behavior and to enhance their digital literacy. Population of this research is Thai senior citizens who are aged 60 and over. 35 samples are selected using purposive sampling method. Then data has been collected using questionnaire via online platform. Statistics used in this research include average, mean, frequency, standard deviation, and t-test. The results show that senior customers often use digital technology when they transfer money to another account and purchase products online. The product/service they brought normally is household goods, food, and drink. After the seniors learn how to use digital technology from our instructional media, they have increased a digital literacy rate significantly at statistical level of .01.
The objectives of this study were to study the factors (personal factors and tourist’s behaviours) affecting the tourists’ decision to visit the cultural tourism. The samples were of 484 tourists visiting cultural attraction places in the central part of Thailand. The survey questionnaire was employed to use for data collection, with the purposiveness and convenience sampling method. Descriptive statistic with frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation was used to analyze the data. Inferential statistic including independent-sample t-test and One-way ANOVA was used to test the hypotheses. The result indicated that personal factors including age and career affected the tourist’s decision; meanwhile, gender, marital status and educational level did not affect the tourist’s decision. Also, the tourist’s behaviour including provincial destination, frequency of travelling, reason of travelling and accompaniers affected the tourist’s decision at the significant level as of 0.05. The result of the study can be useful for tourism entrepreneurs to set the appropriate cultural tourism activities for the tourist.
This paper aims to develop event quality measurement scale in running event context. This particular type of track event became more popular in many countries in recent years. The Big Five destinations of running events: Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, and New York are among those final destinations of runners around the world. To attract these runners, quality of the event would be the key success factor. For this paper, the measurement scale has been divided into three dimensions: physical environment, staff attitude and experience of runner after participating in the running event. Samples has been selected using, first, cluster sampling method according to the running event organized in Bangkok during March 2019. The Ultra Park Run Thailand 100 was selected due to the number of participants, approximately 5,000 runners, and it was the only big running event during that time. Second, 109 runners who participated in running events has been selected using simple random sampling method. There are 18 items for this measurement scale. The result of exploratory factor analysis illustrated that all items have factor loading more than 0.4 exempt one item, st-att5 has factor loading close to 0.4 with communalities is 0.268, thus it is deleted during this stage. Furthermore, result of reliability coefficient test shows that all dimensions have Cronbach’s a higher than 0.7. The alpha coefficient for physical environment dimension was 0.868, staff attitude was 0.821, and experience was 0.771. Therefore, all items are correlate to each other and it is sufficient to explain the running event quality construct.
