Modern dünyada kendisine önemli bir yer edinmiş spor branşlarından birisi olan futbolda kritik kararlarda önemli rol oynayan hakemler, müsabakalardaki fair playe uygun davranışların sürdürülmesi ve geliştirilmesinde önemli bir bileşendir. Bu bağlamda araştırmada, futbol hakemlerinin fair play kavramına yönelik algılarını ve bu kavramı nasıl yorumladıklarını ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmaya 2021-2022 sezonunda Ankara ilinde bulunan ve çeşitli futbol liglerinde aktif olarak hakemlik yapan 21 profesyonel futbol hakemi katılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Verilerin elde edilmesinde, her bir hakemden “Fair play ……………gibidir/benzer; çünkü…….”cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; araştırmaya katılan profesyonel futbol hakemlerinin “fair play” kavramına yönelik oluşturdukları metaforların sırasıyla “ahlak unsuru olma”, “adalet unsuru olma”, “saygı unsuru olma” ve “iyilik unsuru olma” temaları altında toplandığı belirlenmiştir. Hakemler özelinde futbol camiası içerisinde doğru algının yerleşmesi, eğitim ve uygulamalarla desteklenmesi, fair play ruhuna yakışır bir şekilde davranılmasına ortam sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
In order to improve the performance of children, their physical needs as well as their mental needs should be known. The aim of this study is to reveal the perceptions of basketball concepts of athletes attending basketball sports schools with the help of metaphors and drawings. A total of 57 athletes who trained in basketball sports schools in Ankara participated in this study. It was used qualitative research approach in this study. In obtaining the data, a personal information form was applied to each athlete and "basketball ...... it is like this; because …" and were asked to draw a picture reflecting their thoughts on the concept of basketball. All participants took part in the study on a voluntary basis. The data were analyzed by content analysis technique. As a result; it was seen athletes draw on the theme of basketball as “sports, being an element of gain and emotion.”
Esports is a sports branch in which strategies and plans are heavily involved, requires physical and mental effort, has started to interact with modern sports and is based on online games. The aim of this research is to reveal the metaphorical perceptions of trainers, one of the important parts of the branch, towards the concept of esports. A total of 50 coach candidates, 40 male and 10 female, who attended the esports 1st level coaching course, which was held for the first time in our country in 2021, participated in the research. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. In obtaining the data, a personal information form was applied to each coach candidate, and among the coach candidates, “esports is like/similar to ……; because ...…” were asked to complete the sentence. The data collection tool was implemented by researchers personally. In addition, all participants took part in the study on a voluntary basis. In the analysis of the data, the stages of naming, screening, category development, ensuring validity and reliability, calculating, interpreting and examining the frequencies of the resulting metaphors were followed. Although the fact that computer games are seen as unhealthy is an indicator of bigger problems for esports, it was seen in this study that most of the coach candidates gave positive feedback on the concept of esports. It is recommended to repeat the study in order to determine the coaching needs of esports trainers, which may occur with technological developments, with annual follow-ups.
