It is necessary to develop a music aptitude test instrument as students, basic music knowledge is not optimally developed yet. Due to the inavailability of such instruments in the music education department, this study saimed to design and develop music aptitude test. The tests in used to measure students skills in understanding basic musical skills. This study used experimental quantitative approach. The findings resulted in 40 test items covering 8 teaching goals and 35 indicators aligned to the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) of solfeggio class. Further, the future research will focus on music aptitude test in audio form for the students.
This research aims to find out (1) whether there is an influence between student's achievements of learning violin toward their emotional intelligence, (2) whether there is a correlation between student's achievement of learning violin and their emotional intelligence, and (3) how much contribution of student's achievement of learning violin to their emotional intelligence. It is a qualitative research which is defined as a research method based on positivism philosophy which is used to study particular sample and population. The sample and population are drawn randomly using research instruments to collect data, and the data are analyzed statistically. This aims to examine the hypothesis defined. The finding shows that there is a significant influence between student's achievement of learning violin and their emotional intelligence about 76.1%, while the rest of it 23.9% is influenced by other factors which are not studied in this research. It proves that learning violin influences student's emotional intelligence very much and emotional intelligence is influential in increasing student's achievement. From the data, it shows that most of the students participating in violin extracurricular are able to increase their learning achievement.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out the meaning of Kidung Rawapening lyrics, the reason why Kidung Rawapening was not accepted by the Muhammadiyah community, and the perspective of NU and Muhammadiyah about Kidung Rawapening. Research Methods: The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach, employing Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic theory to analyze the data. Results and discussion: Research of Kidung Rawapening shows the meaning of gratitude to God for the fortune of Rawapening and gratitude to the ancestors who protected it. Kidung Rawapening makes a viewpoint comparison between Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah. Implication: NU as a community organization believes that praying for ancestors in Kidung Rawapening will be easily answered by God. While Muhammadiyah states that ancestors should not be included in prayer, because such actions are syirik (shirk) and takhayul (superstition).
Terbentuknya ide pelatihan ini karena melihat kondisi pandemi yang mengharuskan para guru terampil dengan teknologi musik. dengan diadakannya pelatihan ini tidak lain untuk mempersiapkan guru Seni Budaya SMP Kabupaten Semarang baik bidang seni musik, sening tari, dan seni rupa agar terampil dan kreatif dalam menulis notasi lagu menggunakan font “parnumation 3.0”. font ini terbukti dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menulis beragam notasi lagu ( notasi angka ), baik notasi yang sudah ada, notasi hasil arransemen, notasi hasil ciptaan masing – masing guru, bahkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar virtual. Mengingat parnumation adalah softwere berbasis komputer , akan memudahkan guru menjalankan pembelajaran virtual ( Zoom/ Google meet) hanya dengan cara share screen halaman word notasi yang telah di tulis. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, praktik, dan evaluasi. Dengan meningkatnya kompetensi dan keterampilan dari guru setelah pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menerapkan pembelajaran pada peserta didik di sekolah masing-masing. Dengan begitu pembelajaran seni musik pada sub materi bernyanyi ( membaca notasi ) di masa pandemi covid-19 tetap berjalan optimal. Namun tidak menutup kemungkinan diluar kondisi pandemi para peserta pelatihan dapat meningkatkan dan mengembangkan keterampilannya secara mandiri untuk menulis partitur lagu, mencipta lagu, dan mengaransemen lagu. Mengingat seluruh peserta pelatihan telah menginstal softwere “parnumation 3.0” pada laptop masing – masing.
To improve the quality of learning music in addition to ability and skills are also needed awareness of the requirements behind the success of students in learning music. The first step to learn the music before plunging into the skill of the instrument started by learning music basics first. To find out the problems faced by the students and how large the scope of the requirements needed by the students to support and simplify the learning of basic music and how to cope with them. The method that used in this research is qualitative method. The data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis data technique that used is reduction stage, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The result of the research states that found some identification requirements to learn basic music involve Milleu, Man, Method, Machine, Money, and Material. Where each requirement should be understood and noticed by the students in order to optimize the mastery of basic music in the Solfeggio course
