In the article the relevance of the outlined problem in the context of the entrance of Ukraine in the world medical educational space is covered. The essence of the professional burnout of teachers of the higher medical educational institutions (HMEI), which is characterized by the gradual loss of life tone by the subject under influence of prolonged stress in the professional teaching activity and is manifested by symptoms of chronic fatigue, general exhaustion, depersonalization, reduction of professional achievements, etc., is determined too. The objective of the study – to substantiate reasons, peculiarities, objective and subjective factors of the professional (emotional) burnout of teachers of the HMEI. In the investigation the historical-systematic, comparative method and objective-specific method are used. It is emphasized that the syndrome of professional burnout can lead to general decrease of the effectiveness of the professional activity of the teacher, deformation of interpersonal relationships as well as decrease of activity in the creative professional self-improvement, self-development. The threats and risks of the professional burnout of the teachers of medical university in providing the quality of professional training of future healthcare professionals, are characterized.
Relevance. The chronic stress influences on increasing of frequency of thyroid pathology together with other factors (decreased iodine intake in food, harmful factors of external environment, high technogenic loading, depravation of general ecological state, violation of structure of nutrition). The changes of hypothalamus-hypophysis-thyroid gland axis at stress is not enough agreed because of influence stressful factors with different character and duration. Objective is study of influence of chronic emotional painful stress (CS) on the changes of morphofunctional state of thyroid gland (TG) on the background of experimental hypothyroidism (EH). Materials and methods. Experiments were performed on 48 white laboratory sex matured male rats. Animals were divided on four groups: the fist – intact animals; the second – animals with EH; the third – animals under influence of CS; the fourth – animals with EH under action of CS. The EH was modeled by everyday addition of mercazolilum (dose 10mg/kg) to drinking water during 15 days. The CS was modeled by 1 hour per day during 30 days. The functional activity of TG was estimated by the concentration of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxin (T4) in blood plasma and calculation of thyroid index (TI). The morphological state of TG was studied by light and electron microscopy. The statistical analysis of results was processed using Student’s test with Bonferroni-Holm correction in program Statistica 6.0. The differences were statistical significant at р<0,05. Results. The long-term influence of stress factors caused significant decreasing of level of thyroid hormones in blood plasma in comparison to intact animals. The data of light and electron microscopy of TG of rats under influence of CS confirm biochemical changes and detect signs of decreasing of secretory function. On the background of action of mercazolilum the long-term stress caused to more substantial changes of functional state of TG (significant increasing of level of TSH, decreasing of content of T4 and TI) in comparison to data of animals with EH. The structural features of TG of animals with EH under influence of CS indicate on suppression of function. Conclusions. Decreasing of synthesis of hormones by TG in rats at conditions of CS was detected. The long-term action of stress on background of hypothyroidism causes to more substantial depravation of thyroid profile.
The changes of indexes of calcium-phosphorus metabolism and data of densitometry of bone tissue in experimental hypofunction of thyroid gland in conditions of action of physical loading have been revealed. In these conditions worsening of thyroid status was accompanied by the increase of content of inorganic phosphorus and albumins in blood serum on the background of increase of bone mineral density in the area of greater trochanter of femurs in comparison with the similar indexes in animals with hypothyroid dysfunction.
Ergotherapist – is the youngest specialty in medical practice of Ukraine. The aim of higher medical educational institutions is to formulate logical, clinical thinking and effective assimilation of medical knowledge to be used by ergotherapists-practitioners. One of the main tasks of an ergotherapist is to restore the body’s functions that have been lost as a result of illness or injury, and to restore a person to a full social life (self-care, work, etc.). These specialists are working to restore the sensory and motor functions of the body, to develop new skills and abilities for the person to adapt to living in society. Achievement of the goal and performance of these tasks is impossible without knowledge of physiology, which provides the basis for the study of pathophysiology, pharmacology, cardiology, physiotherapy and other clinical disciplines. It improves the quality of study and helps to better acquire theoretical material, to master the skills of clinical physiology a competent approach in the organization of Physiology teaching.
