This study entitled "The Communication Behavior of Tantan Media Social Users in Establishing Friendship (A Case Study on the Students of Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh)." This study aims to understand the interaction, action, and the relationship of the users in developing friendship. This study used qualitative descriptive method with a structured interview for the data collection. The theory used in this research is the mediamorphosis theory. The interviewees were chosen using purposive sampling method, and the data were analyzed using model data analysis Miles and Huberman. The research results obtained that communication behavior of the users in developing friendship was through the interviewees interaction with other users; the interviewees focus on chatting with many users in order to get more friends. The interviewees" relationship in Tantan social media with the chatting partners were only developed until friendship stage, and did not continue to be lovers. AbstrakPenelitian ini berjudul "Perilaku Komunikasi Pengguna Media Sosial Tantan Dalam Menjalin Relasi Pertemanan (Studi Pada Mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh)." Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi pengguna media sosial tantan dalam menjalin relasi pertemanan, mengetahui tindakan pengguna media sosial tantan dalam menjalin relasi pertemanan, mengetahui hubungan pengguna media sosial tantan dalam menjalin relasi pertemanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara terstruktur dalam pengumpulan data. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori mediamorfosis. Dalam pemilihan informan penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling, sedangkan untuk menganalisis data, menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa perilaku komunikasi pengguna media sosial Tantan dalam menjalin relasi pertemanan yaitu interaksi informan melakukan chatingan dengan pengguna lain, informan memfokuskan chatingan dengan banyak pengguna agar mendapat lebih banyak teman. Hubungan informan dalam media sosial Tantan pada akhirnya hubungan yang terjalin antara informan dan lawan bicaranya merupakan hubungan pertemanan biasa, tidak berlanjut ke tahap perjodohan.
This research was conducted to find out the interpersonal communication of Banda Aceh Class IIA Prison Officers in Fostering Drug Prisoners and what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The method used is the Qualitative Method, which is researching in depth with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used in this study uses the theory of Social Penetration which explains a process of relationship with others, where there are various adaptation processes between the two. The results of his research, the implementation of fostering prisoners with interpersonal communication approach in Class IIA Penitentiary Banda Aceh has been running as it should because the training carried out has followed existing procedures, although there are things that occur in prisons such as prisoners' indiscipline then that can be resolved with wise. Interpersonal communication in the coaching process that is carried out is also very appropriate, because a good coaching is also good communication. In conducting a coaching program, Banda Aceh Class IIA Prison certainly has supporting factors in the form of an adequate budget and the enthusiastic participation of fostered citizens in participating in coaching activities. There are also inhibiting factors, namely the lack of discipline from prisoners in carrying out training programs and the lack of prison staff.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Komunikasi Antarpribadi Petugas Lapas Kelas IIA Banda Aceh Dalam Membina Narapidana Narkoba serta apa saja faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambatnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Kualitatif, yaitu meneliti secara mendalam dengan teknik pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Penetrasi Sosial yang menjelaskan suatu proses hubungan dengan orang lain, dimana terjadi berbagai proses adaptasi di antara keduanya. Hasil penelitiannya, pelaksanaan pembinaan narapidana dengan pendekatan komunikasi antarpribadi di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Banda Aceh telah berjalan sebagaimana mestinya karena pembinaan yang dilakukan sudah mengikuti prosedur yang ada, meskipun ada hal-hal yang terjadi di dalam Lapas seperti ketidaksiplinan narapidana maka hal itu dapat diselesaikan dengan bijak. Komunikasi antarpribadi dalam proses pembinaan yang dijalankanpun sudah sangat tepat, karena suatu pembinaan yang baik adanya komunikasi yang baik pula. Dalam melakukan program pembinaan tentunya Lapas Kelas IIA Banda Aceh memiliki faktor pendukung berupa anggaran yang memadai dan partisipasi antusias warga binaan dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembinaan. Ada juga faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya kedisiplinan dari narapidana dalam menjalankan program pembinaan dan kurangnya tenaga kerja petugas lapas.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tahapan manajemen krisis dilakukan oleh hotel Kyriad Muraya Aceh pada masa pandemi Covid-19 serta bagaimana komunikasi krisis yang mereka lakukan dalam mengatasi krisis akibat pandemi Covid-19. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Situasional Communication Crisis Theory menurut W. Timothy Coombs berkaitan dengan strategi pesan komunikasi krisis. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan konsep tahapan Krisis menurut Steven Fink yang terbagi atas tahap prodromal, tahap akut, tahap kronik dan tahap resolusi, dan juga menggunakan konsep langkah mengelola krisis menurut Rhenald Kasali. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif studi kasus dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai Teknik pengumpulan data. Wawancara yang dilakukan berupa wawancara semi terstruktur dan pemilihan informan menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu berdasarkan karakteristik tertentu. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Hotel Kyriad Muraya melewati tahap prodromal namun ketika memasuki tahap akut, kronik hingga resolusi manajemen hotel melakukan berbagai tindakan penanganan krisis, yaitu dengan melakukan analisis krisis, pilihan strategi yaitu strategi adaptif berupa kompromi, mengubah kebijakan, modifikasi operasional, dan meluruskan citra dan juga melakukan pengendalian krisis dalam langkah mengelola krisis. Kyriad Muraya becomes a role model in terms of implementing the 4M health protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic in Aceh. This study aims to determine how the Kyriad Muraya Aceh hotel carried out the stages of crisis management during the COVID-19 pandemic. The theory used in this research is Situational Communication Crisis Theory by W. Timothy Coombs. This study employed the concept of crisis stages by Steven Fink, consisting of the prodromal stage, acute stage, chronic stage, and resolution stage, and also used the concept of crisis management steps by Rhenald Kasali. This study used a qualitative approach, and data were collected using semi-structured interviews of five informants selected using a purposive sampling technique, as well as documentation and observation. The results of this study showed that the Kyriad Muraya Hotel passed through the prodromal stage. However, when it entered the acute, chronic, and resolution stages, the hotel management performed various crisis handling actions, including crisis analysis and the choice of strategy. The strategies included an adaptive strategy in the form of negotiation, changing policies, operational modifications, image improvement, and carrying out crisis control.
This study entitled "Public Relations Of Bendahara Sector Police's Strategies In Creating A Positive Image In The Eyes Of The Public After The Death Of The Alleged Drug Abuse Perpetrator Case" with the aim of finding out the strategies carried out by the Bendahara Sector Police's Public Relations in creating a positive image in the public after the death of the alleged perpetrator of Narcotics abuse. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study was done by using interviews with the head of Public Relations of the Bendahara Sector Police and the General Section Chief Public Relation of Bendahara Sector Police. The determination of informant was chosen using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were seven PR strategies used by the Public Relations of the Bendahara Sector Police, namely visiting victims' families regularly, approaching community leaders, counseling in turns to villages, saweusikula (visiting schools) activities, approaching Aceh Tamiang news journalists, uploading activities documentation to social media, and providing donations and assistance to local communities in need. There were several obstacles for the Public Relations of the Bendahara SectorPolice in carrying out the strategies that had been designed, namely the lack of facilities and the lack of personnel in charge of the Public Relations sector or department.
