Barium titanate-0?25 wt-% carbon nanotube nanocomposite was synthesised by the mechanical milling process. The nanocomposite was characterised by X-ray diffraction, SEM, thermal gravimetric analysis and LCR meter. The thermal stability of the composite was lower than that of pure barium titanate, which was attributed to the presence of trace amounts of sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate. The relative dielectric constant of the composite was significantly greater and was attributed to the Maxwell-Wagner polarisation effect.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
