Con el objetivo de interpretar la percepción que losdocentes universitarios tienen acerca de investigacióny libertad de cátedra, se realizó un estudio cualitativo,identificando conocimientos, actitudes y expectativasque tienen acerca de ambos conceptos. La informaciónfue recogida utilizando la técnica de la entrevista enprofundidad, aplicada a 12 docentes principales de laUniversidad Nacional del Altiplano de Puno – Perú,encargados de impartir materias de investigación. Losresultados muestran que investigación y libertad decátedra tienen una inseparable relación en la docenciauniversitaria, ya sea de manera inclusiva o siendo laprimera un requisito para ejercer la segunda.
RESUMENLa investigación se orientó a abordar las concepciones del aprendizaje y el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de la especialidad de Lengua, Literatura, Psicología y Filosofía de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano de Puno, en el primer semestre del año 2016. El objetivo general que guió el trabajo fue determinar el grado de relación que existe entre la concepción de aprendizaje y el desempeño académico. Se utilizó el diseño descriptivo-correlacional, enmarcado en el tipo de investigación no experimental y en el enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra (intencional y no probabilística) estuvo conformada por 42 estudiantes; los que fueron evaluados con los siguientes instrumentos: el Cuestionario de auto-reporte CONAPRE, para medir la variable concepción del aprendizaje, y la Ficha de Registro Documental para la variable: desempeño académico. Al término de la investigación se ha identificado que la concepción de aprendizaje que predomina en los estudiantes es profunda, con una frecuencia que representa al 85.7%. Así mismo se ha identificado que el nivel de desempeño académico de los estudiantes es bueno, con una frecuencia que representa al 57.1%. Esto ha permitido obtener resultados que confirman la hipótesis, obteniéndose el valor de r=0,448, que corresponde a una relación moderada entre la concepción del aprendizaje y el desempeño académico. Se concluye, que cuanto más complejas y constructivas sean las concepciones de aprendizaje, mejor es el desempeño académico que evidencien los estudiantes.PALABRAS CLAVES: Concepción del aprendizaje, concepción superficial, concepción profunda, desempeño académico y correlación.
Fomentar el aprendizaje autónomo de los estudiantes es una tarea de los sistemas educativos a nivel mundial; sin embargo, este ha sido un aspecto descuidado por mucho tiempo, retomándose su importancia en los dos últimos años para concretar las exigencias de la educación virtual. El objetivo del estudio fue identificar las estrategias de aprendizaje autónomo que utilizaron los estudiantes universitarios en el contexto de la educación virtual. Se combinó métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos; utilizándose el cuestionario de estrategias del trabajo autónomo /CETA y la entrevista en profundidad. La muestra estuvo formada por 20 estudiantes con buen rendimiento académico. Los resultados muestran que las estrategias de conceptualización son las más utilizadas, orientándose al trabajo intelectual sobre el contenido; seguidas de las estrategias de participación, ampliación, preparación de exámenes y planificación. Se concluye que las fortalezas permitieron buscar información, elaborar organizadores y prepararse para las evaluaciones; y las debilidades fueron la falta de un horario organizador y la dificultad para trabajar en grupo.
El nivel de rendimiento académico y la falta de conciencia sobre el predominio cerebral, dentro del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, fue lo que motivó la realización del presente estudio; cuyo objetivo fue determinar la relación entre el predominio cerebral y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la UNA-Puno, durante el semestre 2019-I. Se utilizó el diseño descriptivo-correlacional, enmarcado en el tipo de investigación no experimental y en el enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra (estratificada y proporcional, en base al método aleatorio) estuvo conformada por 305 estudiantes; los que fueron evaluados con los instrumentos: Revelador del Cociente tricerebral, para medir el predominio cerebral y la Ficha de Registro Documental para el rendimiento académico. Al término de la investigación se identificó que el cerebro predomínate es el derecho, con una frecuencia que representa al 52%. Asimismo, el nivel de rendimiento académico es bueno, con una frecuencia que representa al 49%. Esto permitió obtener como resultado un valor de r=0,321, que corresponde a una relación moderada entre las variables, confirmándose la hipótesis. Se concluye, así, que el predomino cerebral y el rendimiento académico se asocian moderadamente.
