Tempeh gembus is a local functional food from Indonesia which made from fermented tofu residues from Rhizopus oligosporus and containing high fibre. The fibre content in tempeh gembus are three times higher than soybean tempeh. Dietary fibre is thought to reduce blood glucose levels. The aim this study is to analyze the effect of giving variations of processed tempeh gembus on fasting blood glucose level. This study was an experimental study with a pre-post randomized control group design. The number of control and treatment group subjects was 20 people each who met the inclusion criteria. The control and treatment groups received 1500 kcal isocaloric diet. In addition, treatment group received additional variations of processed tempeh gembus 150 grams for 28 days. The average intake of processed tempeh gembus treatment group during the study was 58.9%. The average fibre intake of the treatment group was twice higher than the control group. There was no statistically significant difference in fasting blood glucose levels between the control and treatment groups after the intervention. There was no statistically significant difference on fasting blood glucose levels in both the control group and the treatment group (p> 0.05) but clinically it was able to reduce fasting blood glucose levels 4.5 mg / dl in the treatment group. Changes in blood glucose levels showed no significant differences between the control and treatment groups (p> 0.05). Processed tempeh gembus administration for 28 days increase fibre intake but could not been able to reduce fasting blood glucose levels.
This research examined the effect of flour making method using chemicals on the soaking process of taro tubers. Method 1 was done by soaking taro tubers in 500 ppm sodium metabisulfite solution. Method 2 was done by soaking in warm water at 40 ° C for 3 hours followed by immersing in 10% NaCl solution for 1 hour, Method 3 was done by immersing in a brine solution (1 teaspoon in 5 liters of water) for 20 minutes followed by soaking it again in a sodium metabisulfite solution (1 gram per 1 liter of water) for 20 minutes. In related to the proximate composition in taro flour, the result showed that the flour making that uses sodium metabisulfite (Na2S2O5) soaking method produces the best protein and crude fiber content of 3.158% and 4.080%, respectively. The taro cookie making that uses flour that is immersed in sodium metabisulfite (Na2S2O5) produces the best protein, crude fiber and energy content of 2.091%, 2.820% and 588.897% respectively. This is because the first method only uses one immersion process that is using sodium metabisulfite, while the second and third methods go through two immersion processes. It can be concluded that the flour making method using a soaking process with 500 ppm sodium metabisulfite solution can increase the benefit of using taro flour.
JKN is a program implemented through Indonesian government policy to ensure the health. One of the targets in the development of JKN is patient satisfaction. In JKN system, there are high rise of health service. The primary health service starts from FKTP. Puskesmas Andalas and Simpang Anduring Clinic is a FKTP who collaborated with BPJS Kesehatan. In a structure service of JKN, consist of three services. There is primary service, secondary service and tertiary service. Oral health service included primary service. The purpose of this research to know the description of satisfaction JKN patient of service dental care in Puskesmas Andalas and Simpang Anduring Clinic, Padang. The size of the sample is 210 respondents using a consecutive sampling technique. The Result of this research showed reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles in Puskesmas Andalas and Simpang Anduring Clinic still not good seen form 5 dimensions of quality service. The conclusion is seen from 5 dimensions of quality service, Puskesmas Andalas and Simpang Anduring Clinic still not got enough in providing services. Viewed by comparison betweetn Puskesmas Andalas and Simpang Anduring Clinic, satisfied of JKN patients in Puskesmas Andalas is higher than Simpang Anduring Clinic.
