Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of identity strength and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on good university governance and its impact on performance of religious ideology-based universities. Design/methodology/approach The design of this study was an explanatory design. This study had a deductive theoretical direction; therefore, the core method was quantitative. The “import” strategy served as a complement to the main method. With the time horizon, the selection of research objects in religious ideology-based universities managed by foundations, where the funds management of universities are sourced from the people, is based on the consideration that at present, the identity strength that is inherent in a higher education is funded by the people, as well as OCB is reflected in the behavior of people in the organization so that it has an impact on good university governance and performance, as described in the background at the beginning of this paper. Findings The successful the OCB is, the successful the good university governance and performance will be. The successful the good university governance is, the successful the university performance will be. In the mediation effect testing, it was found that good university governance had a significant mediation effect on relationship between OCB and university performance. It shows that good university governance strengthens the relationship between OCB and university performance. Originality/value Originality in this study is testing the mediating effect of good university governance that collaborates with OCB and performance variables, which are carried out at religious ideology-based universities in Indonesia that have different characteristics from universities in other regions. Originality in this study is as follows: good university governance and performance have been studied in a lot of previous research, but in this study, the focus of research is on religious ideology-based higher educations, where it is known that religious ideology-based universities are full with ideological values that become brands, if ideological identity used as one of the formers of good university governance and performance, it is expected that the accountability and performance of higher education will be better.
The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of corporate reputation on commitment, trust and loyalty and its impact on customer behavior of Garuda Indonesian Airline's passengers in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The respondents are the Garuda passengers which are selected by using non-probability sampling procedures. SEM analytical model is employed with Amos as its statistical software. The results showed that corporate reputation has a positive effect on commitment, trust, and loyalty; and commitment, trust and loyalty have a positive affect on customer behavior; commitment, trust, and loyalty mediate the relationship between the company's reputation and customer behavior. The originality of this study is the combined using of three intervening variables of commitment, trust, and loyalty to investigate the relationship between corporate reputation and consumer behavior in the context of airline industry as a conceptual research as far as the researcher's concerned. This would contribute to the development of consumer behavior knowledge. The limitations of this research are that it does not capture a deep picture of the consumer behavior in the designated airline industry in Indonesia and varied education of pasengers which may have led to a biased response of questionnaire's items. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa dan melihat efektifitas distribusi pemanfaatan dana desa di Kecamatan Kuala Kabupaten Nagan Raya dan hubungannya dengan tingkat kemiskinan. Data yang digunakan berupa data time series dari tahun 2015 hingga tahun 2018 yang dikumpulkan melalui data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan mendatangi langsung ke desa-desa di kecamatan kuala. Sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari website Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), telaah dokumen, artikel yang berhubungan dengan objek penelitian. Penelitian ini melakukan observasi terhadap 10 desa sebagai sample dari 17 desa di Kecamatan Kuala. Metode analisa mengunakan regresi data panel dengan metode analisa random effect model (REM). Dari hasil regresi model random effect ditemukan bahwa variabel dana desa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemisikinan dengan Probabilitas sebesar 0,0000 = p-value α = 5%. Kemudian variabel alokasi dana desa berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kemiskinan dengan Probabilitas sebesar 0,0000 = p-value α = 5%. Artinya dengan menambahkan 1% dana desa atau meningkatkan dana desa akan mengurangi kemiskinan di Kecamatan Kuala Kabupaten Nagan Raya.(This research is aimed at analyzing and seeing the effectiveness of village fund utilizing distribution in Kuala subdistrict, Nagan Raya regency and also its relations with the poverty level. The data used the time series data from 2015 to 2018 collected through primary and secondary data. Primary data is taken from directly getting the data from the villages in Kuala sub-district, while secondary one is taken from Central Bureau of Statistics, document and articles analysis related to the research object. This research did observation on 10 out of 17 villages as sample in Kuala sub-district. The analysis used panel data regression with random analysis model (REM). From the effect random model regression result, fit is found that the village fund variable has given a positive and significant effect on the poverty for 0,0000 = p-value α = 5%. The village fund allocation variable affects negatively on the poverty with probability 0,0000 = p-value α = 5%. PurposeThis study investigates how entrepreneurial leadership fosters market orientation, bank innovativeness and bank performance; it also investigates how market orientation contributes to brand orientation, bank innovativeness and bank performance.Design/methodology/approachIn total, 1500 questionnaires were distributed to 100 bank branches in Indonesia (500 to managers and 1000 to employees); 300 responses (20% response rate) were used for further statistical analysis.FindingsThe results confirmed the existence of relationships among entrepreneurial leadership, market orientation, bank innovativeness, brand orientation and bank performance. The role of entrepreneurial leadership in fostering market orientation, bank innovativeness, brand orientation and bank performance demonstrates that leaders can motivate employees to complete their tasks.Practical implicationsThe findings suggest that entrepreneurial leadership, new ideas and innovative products and services can foster bank performance.Originality/valueThe emerging banking industry in Indonesia has witnessed changing market conditions. Banks will benefit from being more market-driven and diverse in their customer relationships to generate value.
