Berbicara tentang mistik Islam, makrifat, tasawuf dan irfan, yang perlu diketahui pertama-tama adalah makna mistisisme dalam konteks Islam, khususnya berkenaan dengan kekaburan makna istilah itu dalam Bahasa inggris sekarang ini. Kita dapat berbicara tentang mistisme Islam jika kita memahami makna orsinal istilah Mistisme, yang berkaitan dengan misteri-misteri ilahi. Secara bahasa makrifat berasal dari bahasa Arab, yaitu kata ‘arafa, ya’rifu, ‘irfan, ma’rifah yang berarti pengetahuan atau pengenalan. Makrifat secara bahasa juga berarti mengetahui sesuatu apa adanya atau ilmu yang tidak lagi menerima keraguan. Sedangkan menurut istilah para sufi, makrifat secara umum diartikan sebagai melihat Tuhan dari dekat dengan menggunakan mata hati. Penyebutan ma’rifah dalam lidah masyarakat Indonesia dikenal dengan sebutan “makrifat”. Dalam bahasa inggris, makrifat dikenal dengan istilah gnosis, sedangkan orang yang telah mencapai tahapan makrifat (‘arif) dikenal dengan gnostik-mistik. Akan tetapi ma’rifah jika diteliti mempunyai pengertian atau makna yang berbeda-beda setiap zaman ke zaman. Oleh karena itu penulis ingin memaparkan makna ma’rifah dari zama ke zaman, yang mana pada masa Rasulullah dan para sahabat sampai kalangan ulama salaf dan khalaf.
Gus Dur sangat berperan dalam gerakan kemanusiaan serta memberikan sumbangsih terhadap pendidikan yang humanis. Upaya itu diteruskan oleh Jaringan Gusdurian yang dapat mengedapankan toleransi dan perdamaian serta keadilan dan kemanusiaan. Memiliki usia yang relatif muda, Jaringan Gusdurian mampu menarik simpati dari banyak publik dengan mengangkat isu yang relatif berbeda dari gerakan yang ada sejauh ini. Oleh sebab itu, riset ini berupaya mengangkat tentang ketertarikan publik terhadap organisasi Jaringan Gusdurian serta perannya dalam meneruskan misi dari Gus Dur, baik pada segi social maupun upaya dalam merawat toleransi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan netnografi. Teknik Analisis Media Siber (AMS) digunakan melalui empat level, yakni level ruang media, dokumen media, objek media, dan pengalaman. Sejumlah data diambil dari akun yang digunakan oleh Jaringan Gusdurian, seperti @jaringangusdurian, gusdurian.net, dan gusdurianpeduli.org. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan dalam konteks kehidupan beragama Jaringan Gusdurian mampu menerapkan dan menjaga toleransi sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh Gus Dur. Sementara, Jaringan Gusdurian di era Covid-19 cukup berperan dalam membantu masyarakat yang terdampak Covid-19 dengan terjun sebagai gerakan filantropi pada situasi tersebut.
Many people think that Punk is a deviant behavior, a nuisance, synonymous with violence, a free lifestyle, closely related to drugs, free sex, thuggery, and so on which gives a negative stigma. Punk children who are members of the underground Sufism community, have learned and made themselves better, this indicates that not all punk children are negative like what is stigmatized by society. This study aims to find out how the background of the underground Sufism community, as well as how the underground Sufism community can be close and change punk children by applying appropriate educational methods. And to find out what the punk kids are learning as well as what good changes are happening in their lives. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method by interpreting phenomena that occur and are carried out, involving existing methods. In qualitative research, the methods commonly used are interviews, observations, and the use of documents. The results of this study concluded that the da'wah strategy carried out by Ustadz Halim Ambiya in fostering punk children in the Tasawuf Underground community, for the first time, took an individual persuasive approach to punk children, by being present as a friend, offering the concept of love and affection, taking the role of a father. and introduce the road map back to God and family. The da'wah guidance carried out by Ustadz Halim focused on releasing alcohol, drugs, sex, and other crimes, by conducting psychotherapy following tariqoh qadariyah wa naqsybandiyah (TQN) Suryalaya with the concept of al-inabah. In his coaching of punk children, Ustadz Halim uses both formal and non-formal teaching methods and uses social and economic empowerment methods
Sufism is accused of being a 'virus' that hinders progress and causes the Muslim world to lag in the arena of modern civilization. Sufism teachings and doctrines are considered irrelevant to the spirit of the global era and modernism. Likewise, puritan Islamic groups regard Sufism as a heresy and misleading superstition, as we have seen recently with the emergence of radical-puritan/salafi-Salafi-Wahabic groups. Sufism and Civilization. The two fields seem to be separate. Sufism is often perceived as an individual inner world, an ascetic activity that is super closed close material world. While civilization is something that requires the manifestation of progress, both physical and non-physical. Can the two of them meet, how is the relationship between the two, negate or affirm, if the answer is positive and affirmative, we can trace the relationship between Sufism and civilization from the relationship between Islam and civilization. Judging from the type of research, this research is included in qualitative research. It is said to be qualitative because this research emphasizes more on presenting the existing data descriptively. The results of this study explain that the important role of Sufism is awaited again to restore the glory of Islamic civilization, especially in Southeast Asia, in the mamidative views of some Muslims towards Sufism.
