L’expansion des comportements addictifs au sein de notre société renforce les influences sociales et culturelles sur les dysfonctionnements individuels. La quête du bonheur et du contrôle de soi encourage la prise de substances comme techniques efficientes. C’est aujourd’hui aux professionnels d’adapter leurs pratiques. Une recherche européenne a permis la construction d’un manuel de thérapie pour ces jeunes non demandeurs à risque : Processus d’Accompagnement et d’Alliance pour le Changement Thérapeutique.
RésuméL'entretien motivationnel est un outil très intéressant dans la prise en charge des conduites addictives à l'adolescence. Il enrichit la clinique en mettant l'accent sur les différentes étapes de la motivation au changement. Il insiste aussi sur l'attitude et les techniques d'entretien du thérapeute dans l'objectif de renforcer l'alliance thérapeutique. Ces deux éléments sont fondamentaux dans le processus de soin à l'adolescence. Leurs conceptualisations vont pouvoir donner au thérapeute une nouvelle corde à son arc.

It improves therapists skills by giving them tools to enhance change and create therapeutic alliance, two key concepts to achieve adolescent therapeutic follow up.Understanding adolescent psychopathology is crucial too for it is known, that adapting technique to context leads to success.
La MDFT ou thérapie familiale multidimensionnelle s’adresse aux adolescents présentant une conduite addictive et/ ou des comportements délictueux. A partir d’un travail avec l’adolescent et son environnement familial et extrafamilial, elle vise à réinscrire l’adolescent dans une trajectoire développementale constructive et un mieux-être. Son efficacité et sa validité scientifique étant reconnues, l’illustration clinico-pratique de ce modèle est essentielle. Ainsi, après un rappel théorique des principes fondamentaux de la MDFT, le lecteur sera amené à suivre le déroulement des trois étapes de la thérapie de Jean ainsi que l’évolution du travail effectué sur chacun des axes ciblés avec l’adolescent, avec les parents, avec la famille et avec l’environnement.
