The concept of culture is an important variable affecting both the internal and external factors of organizations by creating the differences on the behaviours of individual and society. In this study, effects of organizational culture on job satisfaction, organizational communication, organizational commitment and individual performance were investigated and the relationships among them are tested. The concepts used in this study have been widely examined in social science literature and deeply tested in terms of the mutual effects and the impacts of each other. However, it is determined that all of these concepts have not been examined in an integrated manner. In addition, the cultural effect on the relationship among all these factors has also not been tested in the field of social science. This research aims to fill this gap by comparing Turkish and Russian samples with the obtained results. In this direction, 699 data were collected from well-known businessmen associations in textile field and analysed by using statistical methods. It was found that the culture concept directly affecting all of other concepts and also affecting the relationship among them.

Bu çalışma otokratik ve katılımcı liderlik anlayışının örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı üzerine etkisini değerlendirmektedir. Çalışmanın örneklemini sivil toplum kuruluşlarında görev yapmakta olan rastgele örnekleme ile seçilen 280 yönetici ve 130 çalışan oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada çalışanların vatandaşlık davranışını ölçmek için örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada yöneticilerin liderlik davranışlarını belirlemek için ise "Leadership Opinion Questionnaire" kullanılmıştır. Ölçek "Otokratik liderlik" ve "Demokratik liderlik" olmak üzere iki alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Ölçekler arası ilişkileri belirlemek amacıyla pearson korelasyon analizi ve otokratik liderlik ve demokratik liderliğin örgütsel vatandaşlığı nasıl etkilediğini belirlemek amacıyla regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca demografik değişkenler ile ölçekler arasında t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi yapılmıştır. Yöneticilerin otokratik liderlik düzeyleri ile çalışanların örgütsel vatandaşlık ölçeği alt boyutlarından; işletme ile özdeşleşme boyutu ile negatif, anlamlı ve orta düzey, meslektaşlarına yönelik özgecilik boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve orta düzey, vicdan sahibi olma boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve orta düzey, çalışanlar arası uyum boyutu ile negatif, anlamlı ve orta düzey ve işletme kaynaklarını koruma boyutu ile negatif, anlamlı ve orta düzey ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Yöneticilerin demokratik liderlik düzeyleri ile çalışanların örgütsel vatandaşlık ölçeği alt boyutlarından; işletme ile özdeşleşme boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve yüksek düzey, meslektaşlarına yönelik özgecilik boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve düşük düzey, vicdan sahibi olma boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve orta düzey, çalışanlar arası uyum boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve orta düzey (r=0,57, p<0,05) ve işletme kaynaklarını koruma boyutu ile pozitif, anlamlı ve yüksek düzey ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Yöneticilerin otokratik liderlik düzeylerinin, çalışanların örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu sunucuna varılmıştır. Bu ilişki iki değişken arasında negatif ve orta düzeydedir. Yöneticilerin demokratik liderlik düzeylerinin, çalışanların örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi vardır. Bu ilişki iki değişken arasında pozitif ve orta düzeydedir.

Purpose- The aim of this study is to examine the concept of organizational parochialism, which is one of the factors that determine the present and future of organizations, and to apply validity and reliability tests by developing a scale that is thought to measure this concept. Methodology- Our research was applied to 272 companies operating in the textile sector and the results were analysed in the SPSS.25 program. As a result of detailed statistical analyses, the validity and reliability tests of the developed scale were completed and it was determined that the scale statistically measures the concept of organizational parochialism. Findings- According to the results of the research, it has been seen that the concept of organizational parochialism is divided into 5 different sub-dimensions with 25 items as namely business management, financial management, competitiveness, employment management and production management. Conclusion- In today's intensely competitive environment, businesses focus on the present and they may miss the possible risks of the future. In addition to the possible risks, it is also possible for the organizations to make predictions about the future, to catch potential opportunities in a timely manner and to benefit the organization from them. It is possible to say that businesses that cannot evaluate such risks and opportunities are narrow-minded, especially in terms of management manner. In this study, a scale measuring the concept of organizational parochialism and its sub-dimensions, which was determined that have not been researched before in social sciences as a result of the literature review, was developed. In our research, it is possible to indicate that the concept has been confirmed by both the data obtained from the organizational behaviour literature and the statistical data on its measurement.
