Brand Loyalty is the only tool for any company to survive in a severe competition. Brand helps in creating relationship between consumer and producer. In this research we study and investigated the effect of service quality, perceived quality, perceived value, brand trust and customer satisfaction on brand loyalty. The service quality, perceived quality and value were determined to be input variables; brand trust and customer satisfaction were determined to be intervening variables; and brand loyalty was determined to be the output variable. Conceptual model was designed to explain the factors on brand loyalty. Our study based on a self-administered survey that was conducted in Bahawalpur setting. Data were collected from the randomly selected 150 Hewlett Packard product consumers. Our study results provide a better understanding about brand loyalty among customers for companies to analyse and part played by each element in the progress of brand loyalty. Moreover it highlights the crucial role played by affective elements.
This paper aimed at discussing issues engulfing operation of Internet Cafes in Kano State. The history of Kano being a center of commerce, trade and industries give rise to modern business technology which is Internet technology that resulted to Internet Café business in Kano State. Internet café is a place that houses computers, scanners, printers and other electrical and electronics devices with which people get access to internet services like research, e-commerce, e-banking, e-learning and e-mails. Operation of this business within and outside Kano metropolitan faced with different issues specifically related to the survival of the business and these include: electricity, technology , security, customers and license were thoroughly discussed. Data and information were collected by means of methods of fact-finding techniques which are: questionnaire, interview and observation from Internet Café or Cybercafé owners and their customers in order to find the actual problems engulfing them. Data collected were analyzed using a simple percentage method. This paper aims at discussing Information and communication technology (ICT) as a practical tool in achieving vision 20:2020. ICT is the world fastest growing economic activity in Nigeria. The sector has turned the world into an increasing interconnected network of individuals, firms, schools and governments, communicating and interacting with each other through a variety of channels and providing economic opportunities transcending borders, languages and cultures. ICT has opened a new channels for service delivery in areas such as e-government, e-learning, e-health, information dissemination etc. It plays a vital role in the manufacturing industries, competence, competitiveness and process jobs the world over. It is considered to be key for advanced manufacturing strategy. The paper goes further to discuss literature review, the role play by ICT in Nigerian economy and challenges faced. Finally, it ended with conclusion and recommendations on the best way to tackle problems especially implementation of good policy in ICT concerning various sectors of the economy.
The use of dashboard camera (dashcam), or also known as digital video recorder (DVR) is increasingly becoming popular among personal vehicle owners nowadays due to affordable prices and higher video qualities. Many road-related incidents including vehicle crashes and near-misses can be recorded using dashboard cameras and shared via social media as lessons learned to others. Recorded videos of the incidents in real-time can be observed and used for a variety of purposes, including as supportive evidence for investigation. This paper explores the potential use of recorded dashcam videos in determining the characteristics and factors contributing to road crashes and near-misses under different situations. Selected video records of road crashes and near-misses were obtained from the internet thru social media and were used for analysis. The findings concluded that a dashboard camera is an effective digital video technology for traffic and accident monitoring systems. It has a high potential in providing supportive evidence of many frequently occurring factors and understanding the causes of road crashes and near-miss incidents.
