Villagers of Waringinsari, Sukoharjo sub-district, Pringsewu district, Lampung province grows and develops from voluntary migrants from Java. They are a group of marginalized people economically, politically, socially and culturally, so they expected so much when migrating to get a better life for his family. Residents who occupy Waringinsari village as the voluntary migrants are from different regions. They were farmers who had come from the felds of Java (Central, East and West) to gain ground as a new livelihood. The question is why with all kinds of differences in the Javanese sub-culture they could then dissolve together, and then they feel just as Javanese (in the sense of not distinguishing which Javanese origin). The research was carried out to get an answer whether janengan contributing music as media of entertainment, communication and propagation for villagers of voluntary migrants in the Waringinsari village, Suhoharjo Sub-district, Pringsewu district, Lampung province. This research is qualitative. The data obtained show that janengan music does really as alternative music that is able to show the identity of the people of Java. Janengan identifes the Javanese sub-culture from Kebumen which later became the common property of the voluntary migrants. They feel a sense of musical art is proven fact that until now is still a viable alternative entertainment. Janengan also contribute to the cohesiveness, and was able to eliminate the bulkhead sub-culture of their respective regions of origin. Music janengan is able to be an alternative as a cheap entertainment media, as a means of gathering spontaneous migrants thus establish communication in the period since the beginning of the village to the present, the past 60 years. In addition, the content ofthe janengan music lyric also provide a moral message that as human beings they are not arrogant, and ableto follow prophets. Janengan is able to instill the values to the younger generation so that they can becomegood human in morality as told in the poem of janengan.
This research is motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic that has impact of teaching and learning process at school. The government has closed learning activities at school in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. So that face to face learning is changed to the distance learning (online). This research aims at describing how the English teacher conducts online learning during pandemic COVID-19. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques was carried out through observation, interview, documentation studies, and questionnaire. The research indicates learning process of online class during pandemic, the teacher offered contextual material and easy assignments in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture recommendations. Teaching English online using google classroom provide an English learning solution and meaningful learning for students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Online English learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 6 Malang was running well in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Learning English as a foreign language is part of formal education that has been applied educational units. Vocabulary is a basis for understanding a reading content that containts meaning. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDN Mojolangu 04. The procedure of this study used two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, each cycle consisted of 4 stages; planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the results of this study, there was an effective increase in the level of vocabulary mastery of fifth grade students at SDN Mojolangu 04. After implementing pictures with words in cycle I, the classical success score was 52% increased to cycle II 85% while before applying picture media to the activity pre-test score only reached 9%. Thus, in this activity the students gave positive responses such as listening to explanations with focus and following instructions. Memorize and understand the meaning of English vocabulary. Even in the learning process, the students were more active in cycle II than cycle I. Of course, applying picture media could increase students' English vocabulary.
Development in the city of Malang is directed to bring the people of Malang City to the welfare that is distributed evenly. This condition is characterized by increasing economic growth, declining unemployment and decreasing the poor in Malang. In addition, it will also lead people to increasingly cultured conditions, with religious-tolerant values marked by an increasing understanding of traditional values, religious values, mutual respect for differences, and the absence of conflict and violence on behalf of SARA in the city of Malang. The objectives of IbW Program are: (1) To identify potential, actual condition / situation, human resources and realistic resources in Klojen Sub-district, Malang City; (2) To formulate the potential of human resources and natural resources so that it can be used as a pre-eminent commodity of the region; (3) Conducting training activities in the framework of technology transfer generated by Higher Education to the community, so that the community has the knowledge and skills in managing the potential around them. Activities were carried out using survey methods, and observations. Meanwhile, to arrange the action program is done through worshop activity with the hope of action program as needed by society. To that end, in this IbW activity the community is involved from program planning, program implementation, utilization of results and evaluation of program implementation. In this way, the action program is a program that fits the needs of the community. In addition, the implementation of community empowerment activities is carried out using field assistance method. The results of IbW program activities that have been implemented are: (1) Health Sector; Drug hazard counseling; (2) Education Sector; Improved quality of educators with Class Action Research (PTK) training; Mentoring learning for underprivileged students; (3) Economic Program; Entrepreneurship Training "Aneka Handicraft of Maize Maize", (4) Environmental Empowerment Program; Making TOGA, Greening
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui realitas pemahaman siswa terhadap hadits tentang toleransi; realitas sikap terhadap siswa non muslim; dan realitas hubungan antara pemahaman siswa terhadap hadits tentang toleransi dengan sikap terhadap siswa non muslim. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, karena metode ini dipandang paling cocok untuk menggali, mengungkapkan, serta menganalisis fenomena dan permasalahan yang ada. Teknik yang dilakukan dalam pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara tes, angket, wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data, dilakukan dengan pendekatan logika untuk data kualitatif, dan pendekatan statistik untuk data kuantitatif dengan menempuh analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap hadits tentang toleransi berkualifikasi baik, hal ini terbukti dari skor rata-rata sebesar 77,05, sedangkan sikap terhadap siswa non muslim berkualifikasi cukup, hal ini terbukti dari skor rata-rata sebesar 3,26. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan statistik menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan antara pemahaman siswa terhadap hadits tentang toleransi dengan sikap terhadap siswa non muslim. Hubungan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan adanya koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,41.
