The aim of this research is to determine the factors affecting students' motivation. For this purpose, a model consisting of four dimensions has been created by scanning the literature, and the created model has been supported by the opinions of the participants. The research was carried out with qualitative method. The research was conducted in accordance with the "case study" design. In this context, this research was conducted in accordance with the case study design in terms of revealing the motivational elements of the students. The study group of the research consists of 18 students studying at secondary school, high school, and who are undergraduates. The “maximum diversity” sampling method was used in the study. “Semi-structured interview form" consisting of five questions was developed by the researchers in order to reveal the views on students' motivation. The data were collected using the "semi-structured interview form" prepared by the researchers using the interview technique. Themes were formed by dividing the data obtained into similar expressions and all themes were presented as a whole. According to the first finding obtained at the end of the study, the first of the factors affecting the motivation of students is learning & teaching factor. According to the second finding obtained at the end of the research, it was found that the second factor affecting the motivation of the students is the factors during the lessons. According to another finding, the third factor affecting students' motivation is the evaluation element. According to the fourth finding, the fourth factor affecting students' motivation is educational environment & material factor.
Bu çalışmanın amacı, otantik liderliğin okullarda öğretmenlerin motivasyonu ve iş doyumu üzerindeki etkisini belirlemektir. Bu araştırmada açımlayıcı sıralı karma yöntemi ile yürütülmüştür.Araştırmanın nicel kısmında ilişkisel tarama modeli ve nitel kısmında durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel kısmı 649 ve nitel kısmı ise 11 öğretmeni ile yürütülmüştür.Araştırmanın bulgularına göre otantik liderlik, motivasyon ve iş doyumu arasında orta düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Otantik liderlik motivasyonla birlikte iş doyumunu açıkladığı gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmaya göre iletişim, adalet, şeffaflık, problem çözme, cesaretlendirme ve güven öğretmen motivasyonunu sağlayan özgün liderlik davranışlarıdır. Ayrıca, performans, başarı, mutluluk ve kendini geliştirme iş doyumunu sağlayan motivasyonel davranışlardır. Araştırmaya göre geri bildirim, takdir, destek, adalet, problem çözme ve olumlu okul iklimi iş doyumunu sağlayan otantik liderlik davranışlarıdır.
Öğretmenlerin ihtiyaçlarının, hedeflerinin ve inançlarının öğretmen motivasyonun oluşmasında öncüller olduğu gözlenmektedir. Bu kapsamda araştırmada öğretmen motivasyon ölçeği (ÖMÖ) geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2017-2018 öğretim yılında Erzurum merkez ilçe okullarında görev yapan iki farklı öğretmen grubu ile yürütülmüştür. Yapı geçerliği kapsamında 365 katılımcıdan alınan verilerle ölçeğin faktör yapısını belirlemek için açımlayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) yapılmıştır. Bunun devamında 255 kişiden oluşan ikinci gruptan alınan verilerle açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarında elde edilen verileri doğrulamak için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) yapılmıştır. Öğretmen motivasyon ölçeğinde toplam 5 faktör ve 18 madde vardır. Ölçeğin iç tutarlılığını belirlemek için Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik analizi hesaplanmıştır. Bu araştırma ile öğretmenlerin motivasyon düzeylerini belirlemek üzere kullanılacak bir ölçek geliştirilmiştir.
