This study aims to determine the effect of beauty influencers, lifestyle, brand image and halal labelling on purchasing decisions for halal cosmetics. In this study using a quantitative method with cross sectional analysis. The variable measurement scale is done using a likert scale. The sample in this study was a student of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University who used halal cosmetics and had read or watched videos about cosmetics from a Beauty Influencer. The number of samples collected and successfully analyzed as many as 226 of the 242 respondents taken by using purposive sampling technique. The object of analysis in this study is halal cosmetic products. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that the beauty influencer, lifestyle, brand image and labelling halal have a positive effect on purchasing decisions of halal cosmetics.
PurposeAcademic achievement is not a determinant of college graduates' work readiness, but it requires adequate knowledge and skills to be accepted to work in companies. The purpose of this study is to describe the phenomenon of recruitment in Islamic banking, the obstacles faced by applicants and recommendations for Islamic economics universities to adjust their curriculum to the needs of the labor market so that the absorption of alumni from Islamic economic universities can be maximized.Design/methodology/approachThe informants of this research were the study program management, lecturers of Islamic economic, students, student organizations, graduates, Islamic banking management and Islamic bank customers with purposive and snowball sampling techniques through FGDs and deep interviews. The research data were analyzed by data reduction, content analysis and drawing conclusions. In addition, researchers also used triangulation methods and in-depth observations to find the validity of the data by being directly involved in the FGD discussion.FindingsThe results of this study answered the problem regarding the low absorption of alumni from Islamic economic institutions which consisted of individual internal factors, university environmental factors and university external environmental factors.Originality/valueResearchers succeeded in providing information on strategies for increasing competency of Sharia economics graduates by optimizing the role of academic advisors, increasing hard skills and soft skills and synchronizing programs and curricula implemented by Islamic economics colleges and Islamic banks.

Characteristics of human resources are: (1) kafa 'ah, (2) himmatul-'amal, (3) amanah; b AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik Sumber Daya Insani (SDI), Hambatan perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan SDI, dan strategi perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan SDI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research. Hasil penelitian ini adalah a). Karakteristik dari SDI adalah Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang bercirikan tiga hal, yaitu: (1) kafa'ah, (2) himmatul-'amal, (3) amanah; b). Hambatan yang dihadapi perguruan tinggi baik PTAI (perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam) maupun umum sebagai penyedia SDI berbasis ekonomi syariah adalah keterbatasan ahli ekonomi keuangan Islam yang menguasai secara komprehensif ekonomi keuangan dan ilmu syariah, keterbatasan segi kurikulum pengajaran yang berbasis syariah, kurangnya buku teks tentang ekonomi syariah, belum adanya linkage dengan lembaga keuangan syariah dan keterbatasan dana sehingga riset tentang ekonomi syariah masih sangat terbatas; (c). Strategi yang dapat ditempuh oleh perguruan tinggi antara lain: mencari bibit unggul, memiliki intangible asset yang baik dan memiliki kualitas sistem dan dukungan organisasi yang baik. Dari kedua strategi tersebut, diharapkan perguruan tinggi dapat memberikan kontribusi dengan melahirkan para praktisi dan akademisi ekonomi syariah yang berkualitas.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh religiusitas dan tanggungjawab sosial terhadap etos kerja islami karyawan Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU). Penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif ini dilakukan Lazismu berjumlah 50 responden penelitian. Level analisis yang diguanakan yaitu individu dengan pengambilan data secara cross sectional dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tanggungjawab sosial dapat meningkatkan etos kerja islami karyawan di Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah dengan koefisien regresi sebesar (β= 0.355; p-value= 0.000), sedangkan karakteristik religiusitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap etos kerja islami karyawan di Lembaga Amil Zakat nasional tersebut (β= 0.099; p-value= 0.262). Hal ini membuktikan bahwasannya Lembaga Amil Zakat yang merupakan lembaga sosial, memerlukan karyawan yang memiliki tanggungjawab sosial yang tinggi. Adapun tidak berpengaruhnya karakteristik religiusitas dikarenakan karakteristik tersebut bukan prediktor utama dan tidak berkorelasi secara langsung dengan etos kerja islami. Kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dapat dilihat dalam penelitian ini, yaitu peran tanggungjawab sosial dalam meningkatkan etos kerja islami karyawan Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah.
