This study examined the relationship between phubbing and romantic relationship satisfaction in dating couples. Research on the topic of discussing the relationship between phubbing and romantic relationship satisfaction is rarely conducted in Indonesia. Research carried out abroad focuses on the satisfaction of romantic relationships in marriage couples, not dating couples. Therefore, a research that discusses phubbing and romantic relationship satisfaction in dating couples is needed. Two variables are still considered new in the world of psychology. This study aims to determine the relationship between phubbing and romantic relationship satisfaction in dating couples. The method used in this study is a literature review in which presented various studies. In this research, presented several studies related to related aspects, namely phubbing and satisfaction romantic relationship. It was concluded that there was a relationship between phubbing and romantic relationship satisfaction among dating couples. In addition, we presented several studies related to the topic and related variables within the aspects. Further research is needed in order to know what variables are influenced and influenced. Keywords: phubbing, romantic relationship, relationship satisfaction
One of the problems that often occurs when completing a thesis is academic procrastination. This can result in delayed graduation, which is not desirable in our education system. Loneliness can affect students’ academic performance. Globally, loneliness has been increasing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students who are working on their thesis are vulnerable to loneliness. This research aimed to determine whether there is a correlation between loneliness and procrastination among psychology students who are working on their thesis. This research used descriptive quantitative methods, and data were obtained from online questionnaires that were distributed to 55 psychology students working on a thesis at the State University of Malang. Participants were recruited through convenience sampling. The research instruments used were two modified scales: the Loneliness Scale created by de Jong-Gierveld and Kamphuls (α = 0.796) [1] and the Academic Procrastination Scale created by McCloskey and Scielzo (α = 0.905) [2]. The data were analyzed with the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that there was a weak but significant and positive correlation between loneliness and academic procrastination (r = 319; p < 0.05). Most research subjects had a moderate level of loneliness and academic procrastination. Keywords: loneliness, academic procrastination, correlation
The main purpose of this research is to design and manufacture a Smart High Power LED (HPL) to help and facilitate aquascape hobbyists in maintaining aquarium biota. The light supply in aquascaping is a vital component because it can affect the photosynthetic process of plants in the aquarium. Implementing of this Smart HPL is done by designing a flow chart and physical form, placing LED controls, and making a mobile-based Blynk control application. The result of this research is a Smart HPL that is directly connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) system using the Blynk control application. This system is able to control the brightness level of the LED and the duration of the exposure. In addition, it can also monitor temperature and humidity which will make the exhaust active automatically to stabilize the temperature in the circuit considering that HPL has the property of heating up faster than ordinary LEDs. The test results show that this Smart HPL makes aquaspace lighting look more natural than aquarium lights in general.
The research was aimed to test and analyze the effect of profitability and audit quality on profit management moderated by company size. The type of research used is quantitative. The population in this study was sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. In determining the sample of this study through purposive sampling technique obtained by 37 companies for five years and after going through outlier data, 141 data were obtained that were worthy of testing. The data analysis technique used moderated regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25 as a tool for testing. The results showed that profitability affects profit management, audit quality affects profit management, company size is unable to moderate the effect of profitability on profit management, and company size is able to moderate the impact of audit quality on profit management. The contribution of this research is to develop literature related to agency theory which is associated with the dependent variable and to provide information to companies and investors regarding the factors that can influence earnings management practices.
