This pre-experimental study aims to determine the effectiveness of the online Discovery Learning Model the Learning Outcomes of Students in Class at MAN Bantaeng on Oxidation Reduction Main Reaction Material. The research design used is a one-shot case study. The sample in this study were all the students in class X MIA 1 MAN which consisted of 22 students. Data was collected by presenting a post-test to the experimental class. This study uses descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the average value of the learning outcomes was 82.8, the percentage of class completeness was 86.3%, the percentage of completeness indicators was 83.90%, the average of the student response was 75.5%, and the percentage of student activity was 73%. In testing the hypothesis using the Wilcoxon signed rank test with = 0.05, the probability < (0.001 < 0.05). With this, it can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model improves the students’ learning outcomes of class X MIA 1 MAN Bantaeng on the reduction reaction material subject matter.Keywords: Effectiveness, Discovery Learning, reduction oxidation reaction
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran akar kayu bayur terhadap fermentasi nira aren dengan parameter pengukuran yaitu derajat keasaman (pH) dan kadar alkohol. Peran akar kayu bayur (Pterospermum sp.) dapat dilihat dari nilai pH dan kadar alkohol hasil fermentasi nira aren tanpa penambahan akar kayu bayur dengan nira aren menggunakan akar kayu bayur selama proses fermentasi 72 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akar kayu bayur yang ditambahkan pada nira aren berfungsi sebagai pengawet tuak sehingga menyebabkan kadar alkohol hasil fermentasi nira aren bertahan lebih lama pada konsentrasi 4% selama 64 jam serta memperlambat fermentasi alkohol menjadi asam asetat. Kata kunci: Nira aren (Arenga pinnta), Akar kayu bayur (Pterospermum sp), Fermentasi ABSTRACT This research aimed to determine the role of wood root bayur toward the fermentation of sugarpalm nira with measuring parameters, i.e, the degree of acidity (pH) and alcohol content. Role of wood root bayur (Pterospermum sp.) was observed from the pH value and the alcohol content of fermented sugarpalm nira without the addition of wood root bayur compared to the fermented sugarpalm nira using wood root bayur during the 72 hours of fermentation. The results showed that the wood root bayur added to the sugarpalm nira served as nira preservatives, causing the alcohol content of fermented sugarpalm nira last longer at the concentration of 4% for 64 hours and retarding the fermentation of alcohol into acetic acid. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media animasi berbasis flash pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Desain penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara random kelas dan terpilih kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada penelitian ini, variabel bebasnya terbagi atas dua yaitu media animasi berbasis flash pada model pembelajaran discovery learning dan model pembelajaran discovery learning sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar kimia peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan pemberian tes hasil belajar 20 nomor jenis pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis. Deskripsi hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan nilai rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 85,83 dan kelas kontrol adalah 73,42. Ketuntasan untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 92,59% dan kelas kontrol 66,67%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis degan uji-t pada taraf signifikan, = 0,05 dengan nilai thitung = 5,19 > ttabel = 1,67 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media animasi berbasis flash pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. The research design is “Posttest-Only Control Design”. The population are all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang which consists of 3 classes. Sampling is selected by randomly and class X IPA 1 as the experimental class and X IPA 3 as the control class. In this study, the independent variables are divided into two, namely a reserach was flash based animation media on the discovery learning models and discovery learning models while the dependent variables is the learning achievment. Data were obtained by tests learning achievment as many as 20 numbers that have been validated. Data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. Description of the study of students showed an average value for the experimental calss is 85,83 and the control class is 73,42. The completeness of the experimental class is 92,59% and the control class is 66,67%. The results of hypothesis testing indicate tcount = 5,19 > ttable = 1,67 shows that there is a the effect of the use of flash based animation on the discovery learning models to learning achievment of students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang in the subject matter of chemical bonds. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “posttest-only control group design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa yang terdiri dari tujuh kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu class random sampling sehingga sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik masing-masing 36 orang. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model discovery learning yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar. Data motivasi dan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis untuk pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap motivasi hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa (Studi pada Materi Pokok Struktur Atom). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami kenaikan namun tidak begitu signifikan yaitu 59,25% untuk kelas kontrol dan 60,78% untuk keas eksperimen, sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari 8,33% untuk kelas kontrol dan 44,44% untuk kelas eksperimen. The study design used is "posttest-only control group design". These study population were all the students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa which is consists of seven classes. The sampling technique used is class random sampling so that the sample are a class X MIA 5 as an experimental class and class X MIA 6 as control class with the number of students each 36 peoples. The independent variable in this study is discovery learning model and the dependent variable is motivation and learning achievement of student’s. Motivation and learning achievement’s data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Hypothesis test for effect of discovery learning model approach toward motivation of student’s using t-test. The result shown that there is an effect of discovery learning model approach toward motivation and learning achievement of student Class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa (Study on Stucture Atomic). The results of this research showed that motivation and learning achievement of students increased but not so significant. The average percentage of learning motivation is 59,25% for control calss increase become 60,78% for experiment class while learning achievement of students is 8,33% for control class and 44,44% fot experiment class. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 1 di MAN 2 Model Makassar yang dibelajarkan melalui penggunaan media iMindMap pada model pembelajaran koopertaif tipe STAD. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah media iMindMap pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar dengan aktivitas siswa pada materi pokok laju reaksi. Subjek penelitan adalah kelas IX IPA 1 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Desain Penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengambilan data hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan lembar observasi dan pemberian Tes Hasil Belajar (THB) sebanyak 20 nomor yang telah divalidasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan N-gain. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebelum dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran iMindMap pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 35,66 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 8,78 dan setelah dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran iMindMap pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD adalah 78,33 dengan standar deviasi 8,23. Berdasarkan hasil analisis N-Gain diperoleh peningkatan gain sebesar 35%. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar setelah dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media iMindMap pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD kelas XI IPA 1 MAN 2 Model Makassar mengalami peningkatan.Kata Kunci: iMindMap, STAD, hasil belajar, aktivitas ABSTRACTThis study is a pre-experimental research that aims to determine learning outcomes of XI Exact 1 Students in MAN 2 Model Makassar that has been studied among used iMindMap media in Cooperative Learning Model type STAD. The iMindMap media in Cooperative Learning Model type STAD as independent variables and the study result with the activity of the students on reaction velocity as a dependent variabel. The subject in this research is all students of XI Exact 1 Class MAN 2 Model Makassar that consist of 30 students. One Group Pretest-Posttest Design is a design that used in this research. The data was collected by observation sheet and by giving 20 validated tems of study result test. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis and N-gain. The result of descriptive analysis show the mean score of study result before studied with use iMindMap Media in Cooperative Learning Model type STAD is 35,66 with deviation standar 8,78 and has been studied with use iMindMap Media in Cooperative Learning Model type STAD is 78,33 with deviation standar 8,23. Base on N-Gain analysis show the gain is 35%. It is means that the used of iMindMap Media in Cooperative Learning Model Type STAD XI Exact 1 Class MAN 2 Model Makassar increased.Keywords : iMindMap, STAD, study result, activity
