Abstract— Jaringan komputer perlu dikelola dengan benar sehingga lalu lintas data di jaringan menjadi lebih efisien. Satu tingkat manajemen jaringan komputer adalah perangkat router. Router dapat dikelola dengan mengimplementasikan protokol routing, salah satunya adalah EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol). EIGRP adalah protokol perutean yang hanya diadopsi oleh router Cisco atau sering disebut sebagai protokol milik Cisco, di mana EIGRP hanya dapat digunakan pada router Cisco saja. EIGRP sangat cocok untuk perusahaan menengah dan besar, karena banyaknya fasilitas yang disediakan dalam protokol ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis, merancang topologi MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) dengan routing dinamis EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) dan algoritma DUAL (Diffusing Update Algorithm), sehingga jalur routing terbaik untuk topologi MAN akan diperoleh , sehingga topologi MAN akan dirancang. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membuat EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) dan DUAL (Algoritma Pembaruan Pembaruan) simulasi menggunakan Cisco Packet Tracer. Dari hasil pengujian simulasi membuktikan bahwa jalur terbaik untuk dilalui oleh setiap router, yaitu jalur / rute yang memiliki perhitungan metrik EIGRP terkecil di antara rute tetangga, perhitungan ini diperoleh dari parameter bandwidth dan delay pada setiap router yang terhubung.
Network is a communication between two devices to communicate with each other either using wire or wireless media. The LAN network topology used at Tanri Abeng Unversity still uses a static routing topology, where the routing process is still done manually, so that if there is an addition of a new network, it will be difficult to configure the routing table. In this research, a network topology with dynamic routing methods will be built that will help improve network performance at Tanri Abeng University. The purpose of this research is to analyze the comparison of network performance at Tanri Abeng Unversity in sending data packets using static routing protocols, OSPF, and BGP based on the parameters used. In this research also, the ping process was carried out using the cisco packet tracer 100 times with the size of the data packet sent of 32 bytes for each routing method to be compared. Then in this research, the test scenario was carried out eight times on each parameter of throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter in the hope of determining which routing method is more optimal among static routing, OSPF, and BGP at Tanri Abeng University. The test results show that BGP routing for throughput and packet loss parameters is superior to other routing methods, while OSPF routing for delay and jitter parameters is superior to other routing methods.
Bandwidth is a carrying capacity of data carriers on a network connection, using units of time in speed. The cost of bandwidth procurement is very expensive and if it is not set up with management and hardware support, good software or brainware will cause huge losses. Therefore, a quality service standard must be created in an Internet Service provider known as Quality of Service (QoS). On a Cisco Router there are several methods of Quality of Service configured in such a way that the bandwidth of an ISP can be restricted and well managed. Traffic Policing and Traffic Shaping are two methods of Quality of Service that are widely used and each has advantages and disadvantages in terms of technical and non-technical. In this research will answer the use of the best Quality of Service method on Cisco ISP Router by using descriptive analysis through Quality of Service data analysis parameters.
Web service is actually a collection of functions and methods contained on a server that can be called by the client remotely, then to call those methods we are free to use applications that will be created with any programming language that run on any platform. The existence of web service technology can bridge the technological differences of each source. The purpose of this system design is to build a mediation system that can integrate different information systems platforms, databases and functions, so that can communicate between systems. Software development methods used include three main parts of the method of analysis, design and literature study. Methods of analysis include the collection of data using samples, learning on existing systems, and analysis of the results of interviews aimed at the parties concerned. Design method using Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach. The result is a system-based mediation system design using the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) protocol.
