Con el surgimiento de la pandemia, las instituciones educativas han tenido que reinventarse y adaptarse de la noche a la mañana a una nueva forma de enseñanza, principalmente orientada hacia la educación virtual. El presente artículo describe las estrategias de Rapid E-Learning que implementó el cuerpo académico de una Universidad Tecnológica (UT), para brindar sus servicios educativos a los estudiantes. Aunque este modelo fue creado inicialmente para el mundo empresarial, en el contexto educativo se consideró pertinente implementarlo, por la necesidad de acelerar el proceso de creación de los cursos e-learning donde los factores de tiempo, calidad y aprendizaje son importantes. La metodología utilizada para este proyecto es investigación-acción y en el desarrollo el modelo de diseño instruccional PRADDIE.
La tutoría actualmente se ha convertido en un referente importante dentro del modelo de universidades tecnológicas. Esto debido a que se considera una estrategia efectiva para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y, por extensión, para disminuir los índices de reprobación y deserción, así como incrementar la eficiencia terminal. En la Universidad Tecnológica de Tecámac (Uttec) el modelo de tutoría virtual se ha desarrollado con el fin de contribuir de manera significativa en el desarrollo de los estudiantes. El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer los resultados de la implementación de dicho modelo, generado mediante estrategias andragógicas y tecnológicas para facilitar la formación profesional en la Ingeniería en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación de la Uttec. En cuanto a los aspectos metodológicos de la investigación, se consideró un enfoque mixto debido a que se combinó tanto la parte cuantitativa como cualitativa. Además, por el dinamismo del proyecto, se utilizó tanto el esquema inductivo como el deductivo. Por otro lado, el diseño de la investigación fue no experimental bajo un método de investigación-acción. Respecto a los resultados de la evaluación obtenidos del pilotaje realizado, más de 65.57 % de los estudiantes que trabajaron el modelo de tutoría virtual están totalmente de acuerdo con los resultados; 28.72 % ni de acuerdo ni en desacuerdo, y 5.71 % no está de acuerdo. Aunado a ello, se obtuvieron en la parte cualitativa retroalimentaciones importantes para realizar mejoras en el proyecto, con lo cual se podrá elevar el índice de satisfacción.
En años recientes la educación universitaria se ha transformado rápidamente, el desempeño de los estudiantes, los avances tecnológicos y la pandemia, han generado nuevos retos. El aprendizaje adaptativo es una alternativa que se puede implementar para identificar las fortalezas y debilidades académicas y junto con las Tecnologías de la Información aplicadas a la educación es posible mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes convirtiéndolos en protagonistas de su aprendizaje.El objetivo del presente trabajo es diseñar un modelo de componentes de aprendizaje adaptativo para facilitar el desarrollo de habilidades en el área de metodología de la programación.
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el impacto del confinamiento producido por la covid-19 sobre la autopercepción de habilidades digitales del siglo XXI en estudiantes de educación superior. La metodología consistió en un estudio longitudinal, analizando la autopercepción de estas habilidades antes de la pandemia y después de levantar el confinamiento. Los datos se obtuvieron mediante la aplicación una encuesta a muestras de 356 y de 2072 estudiantes antes y después del confinamiento, respectivamente. Se realizó análisis de componentes principales con rotación varimax. Los resultados muestran que la forma de trabajar durante la pandemia impactó positivamente en la autopercepción sobre las habilidades digitales del siglo XXI a estudiantes de educación superior, pues aumentó casi 14%. La limitante del estudio fue que solo se analizaron dos mediciones, por lo que aún no se puede definir una tendencia. Se concluye que el estudiantado ha acogido las TIC como un medio natural para comunicarse y colaborar de forma no presencial para resolver problemas académicos, por lo que el camino apunta hacia la creación y el fortalecimiento de metodologías y técnicas que aprovechen esta inercia en contextos educativos no presenciales y mixtos.
