Esta investigación propone reconocer discursos subalternos de personas transexuales-transgénero (trans) acerca de sus ocupaciones, visibilizando la diversidad de sus prácticas sociales. La metodología fue cualitativa, de carácter descriptivo-interpretativo. Se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad, semi-estructuradas, a cuatro personas mayores de 18 años, seleccionadas de manera intencionada. Se efectuó análisis de discurso, estableciendo tres ejes: autoreconocimiento; discurso y ocupación; práctica social y sus lugares de enunciación. Los resultados dan cuenta de que lxs sujetxs trans desarrollan su identidad desde estereotipos de género referentes a la dicotomía hombre-mujer, donde socialmente lo masculino presenta privilegios sobre lo femenino; así, se advierte que la heteronormatividad patriarcal está implícita en sus ocupaciones y en su vida cotidiana. Emergen discursos dominantes y subalternos, comprendidos desde lo bueno-aceptable y lo malo-fuera de la norma.
ResumenEl estudio pretende comprender cómo los niños que han transgredido la ley, vinculan su contexto social y ámbitos contextuales a sus actividades significativas, entre ellas la actividad transgresora, como elementos constructores de su identidad y cotidianidad, desde un enfoque socio-histórico. El foco de investigación, fueron niños 5 que se encuentran en régimen residencial en el Centro de Reparación Especializada de Atención Directa (CREAD-Pudahuel), específicamente en la casa "De los Sueños". 6 La metodología utilizada fue cualitativa con alcance exploratorio, descriptivo analítico. La recopilación de información se realizó mediante entrevistas semi-estructuradas a profesionales y niños cuyas edades fluctúan entre 10 y 14 años. Complementado con observación participante por medio de juego grupal con los niños El análisis de datos se realizó siguiendo la Teoría Fundamentada propuesta por Glaser y Struss (Glaser, 1967). Los resultados aluden a que la significación positiva de la actividad transgresora es facilitada por distintos contextos. Donde las ocupaciones están determinadas por las oportunidades, las características de estos ámbitos y por la vivencia de logro y autoeficacia experimentadas en dichas ocupaciones. Es así, como estas promueven la construcción de identidad en torno a la ocupación realizada y como esta favorece su participación e inclusión social. Lo anterior plantea desafíos para Terapia Ocupacional en tanto pueda plantear cambios contextuales que favorezcan mayores posibilidades a los niños y alternativas a la ocupación transgresora. Unexpected findings and complications in patients with covid-19 pneumonia: Local experience and literature review Resumen:COVID-19 es una enfermedad viral que fue declarada pandemia por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) durante el año 2020 que ha causado un gran impacto en el área médica, y específicamente en la radiología. El rol del radiólogo es fundamental para identificar de forma correcta las manifestaciones de esta enfermedad, principalmente los hallazgos pulmonares en imágenes. Sin embargo, durante el último tiempo se han descrito hallazgos extra-pulmonares en pacientes infectados, entre las que incluyen manifestaciones cardíacas, torácicas y derivadas del estado pro trombótico producido por el virus. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar de forma retrospectiva hallazgos imagenológicos extrapulmonares en pacientes con COVID-19 de nuestras dos instituciones. Además, se realizó una revisión de la literatura sobre las manifestaciones extra-pulmonares y complicaciones reportadas de la enfermedad. Esperamos aportar información para un adecuado y óptimo manejo de estos pacientes.
Resumen Se trata de un relato de experiencias que surge a partir de una investigación en curso que caracteriza el modelo de intervención de un Programa Ambulatorio Intensivo de tratamiento para el consumo de drogas y/o alcohol específico para mujeres adultas en embarazo o puerperio del Hospital El Pino, en Santiago de Chile. El objetivo es adelantar algunas reflexiones a partir de esta experiencia investigativa en curso focalizando en las formas de acompañamiento que el equipo de terapeutas ocupacionales realiza en este programas. Se presentan los antecedentes, elementos teóricos que guían esta investigación, los procedimientos, y las reflexiones en torno a los procesos de acompañamiento que realiza el equipo de terapia ocupacional considerando los análisis cualitativos preliminares. Las primeras acciones de investigación en torno a esta experiencia nos muestran que los procesos de acompañamiento en terapia ocupacional situados desde perspectivas descoloniales, permiten una lectura político-teórica con base en los derechos humanos y perspectiva de género, visibilizando la violencia estructural producida por el sistema colonial/moderno/patriarcal/ racial que atraviesa las historias de vida de las mujeres y sus familias. Es fundamental garantizar los derechos de las mujeres, articular acciones en los espacios de vida cotidiana y fortalecer las diversas redes de soporte y apoyo para la reconstrucción de sus proyectos de vida. Se concluye que el consumo de drogas, la experiencia de embarazo y el maternaje son condicionados por las desigualdades, estigmatización y violencia estructural del sistema moderno colonial por lo cual es muy relevante que los acompañamientos en terapia ocupacional incorporen perspectivas descoloniales desde el sur.
