A adolescência é uma etapa da vida marcada por muitas mudanças, além das mudanças físicas, próprias da puberdade, as psicossociais se fazem presente e são evidenciadas nos pedidos interpessoais. Com a exposição a contextos que até então não eram enfatizadas na infância, o adolescente passa por conflitos interpessoais, surgindo os repertórios deficitários de habilidades sociais que são apontados como grande fator de vulnerabilidade e risco para saúde. O objetivo do presente estudo é investigar como contribuições dos programas de habilidades sociais para a qualidade de vida dos adolescentes, o mesmo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, de abordagem quali-quantitativa e caráter descritivo. Os programas de habilidades sociais são apontados na perspectiva de novos repertórios e contribuir para seu desenvolvimento e manutenção, além de fortalecer o adolescente para o enfrentamento de situações adversas, constituindo-se grande aliado na promoção de saúde. Portanto, tornam-se se tornarem ações imperativas que fomentam o investimento em treinos de habilidades sociais para adolescentes, e que se pensem no estabelecimento de políticas públicas mais efetivas nesse âmbito.
