Pharmacotherapy is a major treatment method in healthcare centers, and the injection of powdered drugs is among common pharmacotherapy techniques. Medication errors and nosocomial infections are among major health issues in the world. On the other hand, powdered drugs are widely used in hospitals; however, drug mixture is a very time-consuming process. The objective of this invention was to accelerate drug vial mixture, reduce medication errors and nosocomial infections, and save time.There are different drug mixing devices, each with specific abilities. The present invention not only possesses the abilities of other devices but also can mix drugs [with a diluent] with higher quality and accuracy.The drug vial mixing device can mix 20 vials at adjustable time and speed with high quality and accuracy. This device is equipped with an infrared system to ensure a complete mixture of powder, and a Bluetooth short range radio system to remotely control all monitoring options of the device. This is a small and simple-to-use device.The drug vial mixing device can effectively reduce medication errors and nosocomial infections, and save time.
Evaluation of the Level of Spiritual Health in PatientsUndergoing Hemodialysis hronic diseases such as kidney failure are the most important problems of the health care systems and patients have different degrees of stress dependent to the time spent in hospital and how long they are under intensive care. Psychological stress affects a person not only physically, but also emotionally, which in turn has negative impacts on body health. Studies have shown that the majority of dialysis patients have limitations in physical and emotional roles as well as occupational and cognitive function. Spirituality as a human dimension and with the understanding of its role in the C Introduction: Chronic and debilitating diseases confront the person with questions about the meaning and purpose of life. Many patients recognize spiritual health as a factor that creates meaning and purpose in life and promotes quality of life. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the level of spiritual health in patients undergoing hemodialysis. Materials and Methods:In this descriptive correlational study, 82 patients undergoing hemodialysis were selected by census method. The study population was all patients undergoing hemodialysis referred to the hemodialysis center. Necessary data were collected using the Pulotzin and Ellison Spiritual Health Questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results:The mean age of patients was 60.9 12 12.5, most of whom were female (54.4%), and 96.3% of the research units were married, of which 61% had a history of underlying diseases. Findings showed that the religious and spiritual health of patients undergoing hemodialysis is moderate and also the existential health of these people is low. Conclusion:The results of this study show that spiritual health in people undergoing hemodialysis is moderate. Due to the effect of chronic renal failure and hemodialysis on various physical and mental dimensions of patients, nurses with a holistic care approach with an emphasis on the spiritual dimension of care to strive to improve the spiritual health of patients.
