From the teacher's approach to students to the use of media in learning, the learning process has changed dramatically in this digital era. Islamic Religious Education teachers must improve their competence due to the stigma that they are "old teachers" who have difficulty keeping up with developments in the world of information and technology in learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the digital age. As a result, the study clearly discusses the competence of teachers and learning in the digital era, as well as the challenges, as well as the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming the challenges of learning in the digital era. A literature review from several journals and related references was used to demonstrate how a teacher should be in the digital era. Teachers in the digital age must be able to use an information and communication technology-based learning approach to make it easier for students to follow because the information they receive from cyberspace is extremely fast. Finally, Islamic Religious Education teachers must improve their ability to use technology and information-based learning media in the classroom and move away from textbooks. So that the learning process achieves its objectives and provides students with numerous opportunities to develop their learning creativity.
The ecotourism potential of the beach area in Bone Bolango regency, if developed optimally, is very high. Ecotourism development is a tourism activity that incorporates the principles of environment-friendly attitudes. It emphasizes the aspects of nature conservation, empowerment of the local community’s economic, social, and cultural competence, as well as education. Botutonuo beach is among the coastal areas in Bone Bolango regency with high ecotourism potential. The present study aimed to analyze the ecotourism potential of Botutonuo beach based on the physical, sociocultural, economic, and institutional parameters. It employed an ecological-spatial approach by involving the Geographic Information System (GIS). The research method comprised field observation; the data were retrieved by field measurement, interview, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed in a quantitative manner with descriptive statistical analysis, scoring analysis, and qualitative descriptive analysis to result in the final evaluation score of the site’s ecotourism potentials. The analysis result on the site’s physical parameters (vegetation, environmental hygiene, materials, and water brightness) indicated that the Botutonuo beach has high potential. The same criteria were also given in other physical parameters that consisted of distance, facilities, accessibility, and site attractiveness. Moreover, high ecotourism potential was also shown by the site’s other parameters (institutional, sociocultural, economic, and environmental parameters). The site’s high ecotourism potential was due to the beach’s characteristics. The site is a sandy beach that is naturally formed. On top of that, the community’s contribution to constructing tourism facilities was influential in boosting the ecotourism potentials.
Geographically, Bone Bolango Regency is divided into 18 districts administration areas consisting of 5 sub-districts and 160 villages. Without a doubt, a significant number of regions resulting from the division are currently unaware of the origin of the naming of regions and boundaries. Therefore, it is necessary to study the existence of these places in terms of the aspect of naming the region (toponymy) and the area where the division of the region occurs. Tapa District is one of the districts in Bone Bolango Regency. This qualitative research combines two approaches, namely anthropolinguistic and geographic approaches. The purpose of this study is to identify the toponymy of the village based on (1) embodiment aspects (water, topographical, and natural environment backgrounds), (2) social aspects, and (3) cultural aspects. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews and literature studies with data sources obtained from village officials, community leaders, traditional leaders, and indigenous people who were born and live in Tapa. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive. Based on the study results, the aspects underlying the toponymy of the village in the Tapa sub-district are a phenomenon, social, and cultural aspects. The toponymy of the village in the Tapa sub-district, which is influenced by natural physical geography factors (phenomenon aspects), is in the naming of Miranti village, Talulobutu village, and South Talulobutu village. Meanwhile, the social aspect is found in naming the village of Talumopatu. Furthermore, the cultural aspect in the form of folklore is found in the naming of Kramat Village, Dunggala Village, and Langge Village.
Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis aims to reveal the message of social criticism in the essay poetry of Mata Luka Sengkon Karta by Peri Sandi Huizche through text structure, discourse practice, and sociocultural practice. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research and discussion illustrate that the message of criticism is through individual, group and group to group social interaction. Discourse practices in the form of murder and robbery. Situational socio-cultural practices which include motives, and institutional which include mass media organizations, and socio-cultural which include togetherness, nationalist, moral and religious values. The prominent social criticisms are poverty, crime, law enforcement, and discrimination.
